I have Posted before about our love for [name_f]Cece[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and the problems of getting to that name. I think If I can find a swoon worthy combo of two C names I can get DH off the [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] train. Please hit me with some awesome combos that can get us our [name_f]Cece[/name_f].
rules: first name can’t be [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_f]Celia[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecile[/name_f]. DH doesn’t like [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] with a “c” in the first name spot and [name_f]Corrine[/name_f]/cosima/[name_u]Courtney[/name_u]/[name_f]Caitlin[/name_f]/[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]/calliope are not my style. Our original name cosette [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] was tossed out as was [name_f]Celine[/name_f]/[name_f]Celina[/name_f] due to [name_f]Celine[/name_f] [name_m]Dion[/name_m] and the tendency to want to spell [name_f]Celina[/name_f] with an S. Oh no, we aren’t picky (rolling my eyes)
Bonus points if we can double middle name and get [name_f]Mae[/name_f] in there too!
Our back up is [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. Pls help!
I think you could get [name_f]CeCe[/name_f] with a single C name, if you wanted. It might be easier to connect the dots with a soft C name such as [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] or [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f], but there’s no reason you can’t use the nickname for a hard C name such as [name_f]Cora[/name_f] or [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. Or even a name with a c in the middle, like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. My sister’s called [name_f]Carolyn[/name_f] and my brother gave her the nickname of [name_f]CeCe[/name_f]- it wasn’t what my parents had originally intended but it worked.
Otherwise I like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] or [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f].
Is [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] off the table as well? I love the medieval [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] - [name_f]Cicely[/name_f] too.
[name_f]Empress[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] of [name_f]Austria[/name_f] (1837-98) was known as “[name_f]Sisi[/name_f].” You could also use “[name_f]Sisi[/name_f]” as a pet-name for [name_f]Elise[/name_f], or an “S” name such as [name_f]Selina[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Siena[/name_f], [name_f]Sidonie[/name_f], and [name_u]Simone[/name_u].
I like the suggestion of [name_f]Celestia[/name_f]. Soft C names: Celandine, [name_f]Cybele[/name_f], [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f], [name_f]Cyane[/name_f], [name_u]Cedar[/name_u], [name_f]Cypress[/name_f], Cyprina, [name_f]Cyrilla[/name_f].
