Can we have help with less than common girls names please.
We have 2 boys first has a names that turned out to be most common that year - [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]
So for 2nd boy we wanted less common but not unheard of and went with - [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
If this baby is a boy we have it sorted but are struggling with a girls name
Thoughts so far are
[name_f]Kenzi[/name_f] really isn’t very uncommon, not with how popular [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] has been over the last decade. [name_f]Greer[/name_f] and [name_f]Margo[/name_f] are nice, you may like:
I think [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is lovely, and since your second son has a unisex name I think it would be a good idea to give your daughter a more clearly feminine name - [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_f]Greer[/name_f] or [name_f]Kenzi[/name_f] feel like they could be sets of brothers to me.
I think [name_f]Kenzi[/name_f] just blends in with all the [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u]/[name_f]Mckenna[/name_f]/[name_f]Kinsley[/name_f] etc. names and even though as a given name it’s not common it feels very common because of that. I like [name_f]Greer[/name_f] and [name_f]Margo[/name_f], although [name_f]Margot[/name_f]/[name_f]Margo[/name_f] has been trending up so even though it’s not super common right now I think it’ll keep getting more popular over the next few years.
Some of my favorites that don’t rank high on the US charts:
Thank you every one for your thoughts. [name_f]Kenzi[/name_f] was my fave but as many have said it’s too common due to its Mckenzie origins. Lots of nice suggestions so back to the drawing board. I’m assuming it’s s boy as the other 2 where, but just in case I will keep looking.
