As a [name]Gabrielle[/name], I have to shun the boy version a la femme. I don’t really think Galadriel is evil, honestly if it didn’t have such distinct pop culture roots it might have made it onto my list, it has a similar vibe, but then again, maybe not.

I met a girl named [name]Gabriel[/name] and I loved that name on her. It sounded feminine and strong.

I’m not fond of [name]Gabriel[/name], but I actually think Galadriel’s nice (I’m an LotR fan). Still, I probably wouldn’t use it in real life . . .

Nothing annoys me more than boy’s names on girls, except maybe misspelled names, so I picked Galadriel, no question. I think it actually has a pretty sound, even though I would never actually use it.
