I just found out that I’m descended from the oldest kings from Scotland and England, and Probably Ireland and Russia as well. St. Alfred the Great and St. Margaret of Scotland are both my ancestors, and they’re both saints of learning and reading. Also, probably St. Olga, who was famous for getting revenge. There’s a pattern of my family members going into exile or escaping things on both sides. For example, my dad’s family escaped the potato famine by marrying their daughter to a sailor. I’d say my family motto would be “Live to fight another day.”
