I have [name_u]Fable[/name_u] on my long list for both genders. I think it’s wearable but I’m not brave enough to use it. I do like it as a middle name since I like to use my GP type names in middle spots. I slightly prefer it on a girl.

I really like the name on both genders. Right now I have it on the boy side as a possible middle for [name_m]Amias[/name_m]!

Thank you both! Hmm, I strongly prefer [name_u]Fable[/name_u] on a girl, but as a rule I don’t really like unisex name. Perhaps she will be a fun and unexpected middle!

As this is - to me - just a random word (in the way that sausage, hat and toothbrush are random words), I don’t like to see it used as a name.

I’d be less surprised to hear it on a girl though, with [name_f]Fay[/name_f] as a nickname.

As a middle name I can see it used on either gender. As a first name I would only use it as a girl’s name. I love the name [name_u]Fable[/name_u]. [name_u]Fable[/name_u] has very special meaning for me (and my family).
