My husband and I are both kind of sweet on this name.
What do the berries think? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like this name as a stand-alone? Or do you prefer it for [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] or another name?
Does it fit well as a sister to [name_f]Ada[/name_f]?
I prefer it as a nickname for [name_f]Harriet[/name_f].
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]/[name_f]Hetty[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is a nice vintage sibset.
I like [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Mehetabel[/name_f], but I know that’s probably too crazy for most people.
I like name Harrietbecause a wonderful girl in all senses. Perfect girlfriend and perfect friend. and a high intelligence. Kind person who everyone loves
I prefer it as a nickname for [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], but I like [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] a lot more than I like [name_f]Hetty[/name_f]. Sorry!
[name_f]Hetty[/name_f] is really sweet- I love it as a standalone. Plus, it sounds gorgeous with [name_f]Ada[/name_f]- they both have a lot of vintage spunk.
I think it fits fell as a sister to [name_f]Ada[/name_f] but I only like it spelled [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]. [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] doesn’t look like a complete name to me.
[name_f]Hetty[/name_f] … it’s cute - kind of sounds more like a nickname.
I love [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] (with [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] as nn). Both names are on my girls list!
I think [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] goes really well with [name_f]Ada[/name_f], but I only like it as a nickname. But I think [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] sound great together.
Hmm, I just said “[name_f]Hetty[/name_f]” out loud and it sounded a lot like “heady” :-/ I think I like [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] better as a nn for [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] because of the pronunciation issue (I have a [name_u]West[/name_u] Coast USA accent).
I like the name [name_f]Hetty[/name_f]. I actually lived next door to a woman named [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] when I was really little and she was in her 90s haha. It was short for [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]. She had a twin sister [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] called [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]. I actually prefer [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] over [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] (and actually have [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] on my list), but I like [name_f]Hetty[/name_f], too. And [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] DEFINITELY have a wonderful ring as a sib-set!!!
It fits with [name_f]Ada[/name_f]! It can definitely be a standalone name! It’s beautiful!!
I like [name_f]Hettie[/name_f] or [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] better, but [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] is nice too. It goes very well with [name_f]Ada[/name_f].
