[name_f][/name_f] I’m a big fan of Portuguese names and do like that [name_f]Talita[/name_f] feels more streamlined, but [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] feels more homy to me? [name_f][/name_f] If I stopped to really think of all the options and make myself make a decision, I would probably say [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] is my favorite. [name_f][/name_f] I love the story that [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] stems from Biblically; she feels like a really lovely fit with some of the more Biblical & Hebrew options on both my girls’ and boys’ lists (Olivet, Ben-Ami, [name_m]Boaz[/name_m], [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m], [name_m]Asa[/name_m], [name_f]Aquila[/name_f], [name_m]Reuben[/name_m], [name_m]Judah[/name_m], [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], etc.), but I haven’t found a combo for her that I like nearly so much as I’ve loved [name_f]Tali[/name_f] [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] (which was my old [name_f]Tali[/name_f] combo before I started trying other options). [name_f][/name_f] I do like [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Marcheline[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Joy[/name_f], etc. with a [name_f]Tali[/name_f] name in general, though; I’ve considered [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f] before. [name_f][/name_f] Part of me just wonders if the two don’t gel enough together?
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]This is definitely fair [name_f][/name_f]- I keep coming back to [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] in my head, but I know years ago, a berry was insisting that [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] was THAY-lee-ah, and I don’t know that I like that as much as just [name_f]Talia[/name_f] in sound, and I also don’t love the tie to mythology. [name_f][/name_f] She’s not really a realistic option, but she keeps popping up in the back of my head. [name_f][/name_f]

[name_f][/name_f] I think I started doubting just [name_f]Tali[/name_f], much as I love her, because my sister goes by the nn T@lie occasionally and just [name_f]Tali[/name_f] seemed too much, but something like [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] or [name_f]Talia[/name_f] maybe wasn’t? [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_f]Talia[/name_f] isn’t sitting right with me, I like her, but she doesn’t feel like me after sitting on my list for a bit. [name_f][/name_f] Realistically I think you’re right about [name_f]Talitha[/name_f], she does feel like the best of everything I’m looking for, and when I think of [name_f]Tali[/name_f], [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] nn [name_f]Tali[/name_f] or [name_m]Tally[/name_m] feels the most right. [name_f][/name_f] If I kept just [name_f]Tali[/name_f], I would probably keep [name_f]Tali[/name_f] [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] [something], either [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or maybe [name_f]Dove[/name_f] since I’ve been trying out [name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] [name_f]Dove[/name_f] lately? [name_f][/name_f] I do like [name_f]Tali[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] a lot and have been really loving [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] as a middle name! [name_f][/name_f] So ironic though since [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f], [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] [name_f]Maple[/name_f], and [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f] have been very high on my list of considerations if I used [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] (in addition to [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] [name_f]Esti[/name_f] Lior). [name_f][/name_f] But like you say, they haven’t hit the mark like [name_f]Tali[/name_f] [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] did… [name_f][/name_f] which is probably why I’m in this conundrum.

[name_f][/name_f] I think I’m predominantly between just [name_f]Tali[/name_f] and [name_f]Talitha[/name_f] nn [name_f]Tali[/name_f] now, but your thoughts were very helpful, thank you!
