Letters that turn me off: Challenge

Are then any names you instantly don’t like because you aren’t a fan of the letter they start with?

For me it’s J for girls, I, K, T, Q, V, X, Z.

Here’s the Challenge. Tell me what letters you aren’t a fan of and propose a name starting with my least favourite letters. Let’s see if you can convince me to fall in love with a name that start with a letter that turns me off.

[name_f]Xena[/name_f], [name_f]Xenia[/name_f], [name_m]Xavi[/name_m], [name_u]Xen[/name_u] | [name_f]Ysabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Ysabeau[/name_f], [name_f]Yara[/name_f], [name_u]Yarrow[/name_u] | [name_u]Kiba[/name_u], [name_f]Kibah[/name_f], [name_u]Keeley[/name_u], K’mari, [name_m]Kason[/name_m], [name_u]Kade[/name_u] | [name_f]Diana[/name_f], [name_f]Deena[/name_f]

[name_f]Illyria[/name_f] is cool. [name_f]Kinda[/name_f] Games of Thrones feel.
[name_f]Viviana[/name_f] is nice…I just can’t do [name_f]Viv[/name_f]. I think it’s a reminder of Legally Blonde bad girl.
I’m rather partial to [name_f]Junie[/name_f] but not quite [name_u]Juniper[/name_u].
I’m a fan of [name_f]Kate[/name_f], I don’t love but it’s cool on the right person. It’s my middle name too :tipping_hand_woman:t3:

[name_u]Yale[/name_u] is interesting, never heard of that before. Rings more as a middle name. What theme do you think this suits?

[name_u]Love[/name_u] some of these names.

[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_u]George[/name_u]
[name_u]Gus[/name_u]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f]

Always nice when your own name pops up  I like name so much, my husband and I have even consider using the male version for a son of we have one. Is that weird?

Some different ones here. Embracing the challenge.

How to do pronounce [name_f]Ysabeau[/name_f] and [name_f]Ysabella[/name_f]?

I agree with that! When I think of [name_u]Yale[/name_u] I think of [name_u]Yale[/name_u] University in [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]Haven[/name_u], Connecticut, so I’d say it fits into a place name theme. I’ve drawn a lot of inspiration from college names (ex. [name_u]Baylor[/name_u], [name_u]Maverick[/name_u], [name_u]Denver[/name_u], Wesleyan, [name_m]Oxford[/name_m], etc.). If you’re British, [name_u]Yale[/name_u] also fits into a whimsical, fairytale theme because a [name_u]Yale[/name_u] is a type of mythical creature. I also think [name_u]Yale[/name_u] sounds quite weather-like (probably because it sounds like hail) so I think it’d be super cute to pair it with other “weather-themed” names (ex. [name_f]Misty[/name_f] Yale).

Pretty much the same as you would pronounce it beginning with an I, Is-uh-bell-uh and Is-Uh-Bow
