What do you all think of the name [name_m]Levy[/name_m]?
I love this name if pronounced like Leh-vee! I actually had this on my shortlist a while ago but I received at lot of comments about how it’s a bank/tax term? Still a good name [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. Unless you’re pronouncing it as [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-vye, which I would just spell as [name_m]Levi[/name_m].
I personally don’t like it pronounced as [name_m]Lev[/name_m]-vey, it makes me think of rivers and earth science, and if you are going to pronounce it as [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-vye, just spell it [name_m]Levi[/name_m].
Some other names that I think are similar might be [name_u]Rigel[/name_u] and [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] (both for earth science and nature) or [name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] (for [name_m]Levi[/name_m] and softer biblical type names)
I’m not keen on it.
I feel the same way as Araminty. For me it’s a tax-related term and a Jewish surname, and also earth science related as previously mentioned. I do, however, like the name [name_m]Levi[/name_m].
