[name]Do[/name] you think [name]Lex[/name] makes a good name for a boy without a longer name tied to it? I can’t use [name]Alexander[/name] but I love [name]Lex[/name]. Could a boy named [name]Lex[/name] grow up and lead a happy successful life?
I really can’t see [name]Lex[/name] as a stand alone name. It just makes me think of [name]Lex[/name] [name]Luthor[/name]. If [name]Alexander[/name] isn’t an option, how about [name]Felix[/name] or [name]Alexi[/name]?
Ditto this. Sorry. You could maybe get away with just [name]Alex[/name]…
I love the name [name]Lex[/name]!! Unfortunately my last name is [name]Luther[/name], so it’s out for me. Since I don’t like any of the long forms of it, I would just use it by itself (although I do like the PP suggestion of [name]Felix[/name]). I would pair it with a middle of at least three syllables, but I think it’s cool!
I don’t care for [name]Lex[/name] by itself. It is really lacking in the professional sound that [name]Alexander[/name] would lend to someone later in life, and I feel that [name]Lex[/name] would be constantly thought of as a nickname.
well, i love it. it’s my last name so all of our kiddos get to have it!
Am I the only one who thinks it is very, very, very feminine? Maybe because I have [name]Alexandra[/name] and we call her [name]Lex[/name]/[name]Lexie[/name].
[name]LOVE[/name] IT! I had [name]Lex[/name] and [name]Rex[/name] on my boy list but I’m having a girl. Our last name is pretty long so I love the short first names. I knew a little [name]Lex[/name], but his actual name was [name]Alexander[/name] (I think). I say why use a longer name is you are gonna call him by the shorter name anyways.
I know about 3 people named [name]Lex[/name].
But they are all girls.
It’s alright but to me it sounds kind of feminine and I don’t think it would fit very well for a boy.
I think of [name]Lex[/name] [name]Luthor[/name] too. I know of a [name]Tex[/name] and I think that is a better option but I think [name]Felix[/name] and [name]Alexei[/name] is a better option.
Lexington? [name]Just[/name] a thought
