I hope it is OK that I am reposting this question, and I apologize for the repetition, but the feedback was so helpful and then my post got buried so far down that it was hard for me to find it anymore and I did not know how to move it back to the top. We are naming our daughter [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] and for the middle name we have a two-part middle name for family reasons. I have narrowed it down to my two favorite choices and just need help arriving at the final decision, as I am scheduled for a C section in a few weeks. The choice are [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] [name_f]Maya[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] [name_f]Marina[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]. I would love to hear not only which one people prefer, but why they prefer one over the other. I am looking for the name that sounds the most pretty and special of the two. And the one that flows the most easily. So far, there seems to be an even split right down the middle in terms of the name people preferred. I just think they’re both so pretty that I am having a really hard time choosing. Some people have suggested I wait to meet the baby which makes sense but I am afraid I will still be caught undecided and I would really like to make a decision before then. It is helping me to read the feedback as I move towards a final decision. My husband says he is OK with either one. He is probably sick of hearing about it ha ha
I like [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] [name_f]Marina[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]. I feel like it flows much better with the 2-3-1 syllables rather than 2-2-1.
I agree with the previous poster. Both [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] [name_f]Maya[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] and [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] [name_f]Marina[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] are cute combos, but I think the second one flows better. Best of luck to you guys!
