Husband and I are not seeing eye to eye and while he’s accepted my original love of [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], he insists he will call her “[name_f]Jen[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Jenni[/name_f]” instead of the nickname I prefer - [name_u]Nev[/name_u] or Nevi.
So, we’re still name hunting. His suggestions are usually based from the 1980s or 1990s and badly dated ([name_f]Jessica[/name_f], [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u]). Nothing wrong with them, just not my style (classic, vanilla).
Our son is [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m].
Last night he came out with [name_f]LILIANA[/name_f]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] this! Except… our surname is [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]. [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] is alot of L.
What do the berries think of [name_f]LIANA[/name_f]? Is [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] acceptable or would [name_f]Liana[/name_f] flow better with the surname?
I actually don’t mind all of the L’s in [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]. I think the flow is fine. Either name is nice, but I think I prefer [name_f]Liliana[/name_f].
I don’t think [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] sounds terrible, but I like [name_f]Liana[/name_f] too. What about [name_f]Viviana[/name_f]?
I think [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] is fine except when she is older some people may shorten it to [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] doesn’t work that well. I really like [name_f]Liana[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]! Also, have you considered [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] (li-NAY-ah) which I think is similar and very pretty.
[name_f]Liliana[/name_f] is great! I think it works fine and I wouldn’t worry about [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u], it’s not a deal breaker and for all we know she may go by [name_f]Lil[/name_f].
