Liberty is a cute word name that is really pretty and has a range of great nicknames including [name_f]Libby[/name_f] which I love. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] sounds great with [name_f]Liberty[/name_f].
Sarah is a very classic choice she’s timeless and I think stylistically works well with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] & [name_f]Alaina[/name_f]. [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] is a great nickname for [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] and gives an added edge which I think is spunky. Again [name_f]Jane[/name_f] sounds great with [name_f]Sarah[/name_f].
My favourite is [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] with your children’s names.
Had to comment because my sister is named [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] and growing up she frequently mentioned how she wished she had a more “unique name”…and so she bestowed her daughter with a unique name…[name_f]Liberty[/name_f]!
I’m no help since I know people with each name and I like them both fine but I slightly prefer [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]!
My name is [name_f]Liberty[/name_f]!!! [name_f]My[/name_f] best friend is [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]!
I am a late teen and really, really, really love my name. I get compliments the entire time and I enjoy having a spunky, unique name - for what it is worth, even though I personally find [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] adorable, my friend [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] literally today joked about how she wanted to swap names. Having a distinct name can be so empowering.
Most people call me [name_f]Lib[/name_f] and I definitely don’t think it is too out there with the nickname [name_f]Libby[/name_f]. I think because it sounds like lots of girls names with the -y ending, and other virtue names such as [name_f]Hope[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] are increasingly popular, [name_f]Liberty[/name_f] totally works. I have encountered a few in my life and find a decent number of people know one other person with the name, so it isn’t too weird.
It’s also definitely not overly political, if you were wondering - I rarely get political comments, (although I do live in the UK.
I LOVE hearing this and how much you love your name!! Is your middle name [name_f]Kate[/name_f]? That sounds so pretty as a middle name! Would totally use that but that’s actually my name! You are making me love this name even more. Thank you so much for commenting!
I have a deep love of [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], but it definitely sounds like [name_f]Liberty[/name_f] is the name for you. Your excitement for this name is so obvious in this thread, and I definitely think you should go with it.
I love [name_f]Liberty[/name_f] with the nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]! I think the nn matches better with her siblings’ names rather than [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]… Also, I agree that [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is classic, elegant, and beautiful, but I do think it has been overly used.
Personally, I’d go with something different such as:
To me, the name [name_f]Liberty[/name_f] is no different than [name_f]Hope[/name_f], [name_f]Faith[/name_f], [name_f]Destiny[/name_f], [name_f]Desire[/name_f]/Desiree, [name_f]Serenity[/name_f], [name_f]Chastity[/name_f], [name_f]Innocencia[/name_f], and [name_f]Honora[/name_f]. I think she’ll love her name, and how special it is. [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Sicilia[/name_f], which is the island located under [name_f]Italy[/name_f], otherwise known as [name_f]Sicily[/name_f], and I love my name! I’ve gotten plenty of compliments over the years! Sure, my name still gets misspelled even till this day, because the majority only know the names [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], Sesily, and [name_f]Sicily[/name_f]; however, I’ve gotten so used to it that now I only laugh about it with no hard feelings. Names that are different such as mine, are always memorable, and that’s what makes them beautiful and unique.
