Liel

[name_f]Liel[/name_f] is so beautiful and petite. The meaning is indeed very moving. I’m not sure I’ve come across it before but I am familiar with [name_m]Eliel[/name_m]. [name_f]Liel[/name_f] reminds me of [name_f]Ciel[/name_f] and [name_f]Liriel[/name_f] while [name_f]Liella[/name_f] reminds me of [name_f]Luella[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilia[/name_f].

I like short, tailored names so I much prefer [name_f]Liel[/name_f] over [name_f]Liella[/name_f]. But I also feel [name_f]Liella[/name_f] would be a bit lost amongst similar sounding liquid names like [name_f]Layla[/name_f], [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] etc.

I’d prefer both as middle names, especially if there’s any doubt about usage. That said, [name_f]Liella[/name_f] fits in so well with other names in fashion, and the three syllable rhythm works so well as a first name. [name_f]Liel[/name_f] has potential as a nickname for [name_f]Liella[/name_f] or another L name.

[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Liel[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is so ethereal and lyrical. I love that combination. A few more ideas:
