I’ve always thought [name]Liesel[/name] was a short form of [name]Anneliese[/name], but it makes sense that it’s actually short for [name]Elisabeth[/name]. But I think [name]Anneliese[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name] are related names anyway.
