2000: On 1 [name_m]January[/name_m] (didn’t want the entire game to go TOO far into the future, plus my MC just gives Capricorn :capricorn:), in [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_m]York[/name_m] City, a pair of parents welcome a beautiful baby girl! They name her [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]2001: One day, Emily’s parents welcome another baby girl! They name her [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] [name_f]Alexis[/name_f]. Emily-just like most 1-year-olds-isn’t quite sure about the new baby, often crying when mum and dad are holding the new baby. Fortunately, the difficult years soon pass, and in a few years, being sisters close in age, they eventually become best friends.
[name_f][/name_f]2002: [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is finally potty trained! Her parents give her candy as a reward. (Give them a break. They literally just survived the two under two phase.)
[name_f][/name_f]2003: [name_f]Emily[/name_f] starts preschool! At first, it’s overwhelming to be around so many new faces at once, and she isn’t a fan of it. Throughout her school years, she discovers her passions and makes new friends, and learns to enjoy the parts of school she likes (and tolerate the ones she doesn’t).
[name_f][/name_f]2004: Emily’s favourite uncle and his fiancee (who also absolutely dotes on Emily) get married! And [name_f]Emily[/name_f] gets to be the flower girl! She gets a pretty dress and loves twirling in it.
[name_f][/name_f]2005: With [name_f]Emily[/name_f] starting kindergarten, her parents start teaching her and [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] Spanish, one of the most widely-spoken languages in the world. With years of hard work, the girls become bilingual and are able to connect with more people locally and when travelling.
[name_f][/name_f]2006: [name_f]Emily[/name_f] loses one of her front teeth! She gets an adorable toothless grin.
[name_f][/name_f]2007: [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] get a dog! It’s a border collie, and the girls name her [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] loves walking [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and teaching her tricks.
[name_f][/name_f]2008: [name_f]Luna[/name_f] runs away! [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] are horrified and put up posters all around the neighbourhood, hoping someone would find [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and return her to them. Luckily, [name_f]Luna[/name_f] comes back a few days later.
[name_f][/name_f]2009: [name_f]Emily[/name_f] sings ‘The Climb’ from [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_m]Montana[/name_m] in the talent show at her elementary school. She’s nervous on stage but manages to pull it off. She doesn’t get a prize but she doesn’t mind.
[name_f][/name_f]2010: [name_f]Emily[/name_f] finds out that her aunt and uncle, despite working and living like normal people, are secretly millionaires! They make her promise not to tell anyone (and she doesn’t, because why would she?)
[name_f][/name_f]2011: As [name_f]Emily[/name_f] starts middle school, [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] feels jealous that her older sister is now so much ‘cooler’ than her, and they start arguing. However, they eventually reconcile over watching TV together, and become best friends once again.
[name_f][/name_f]2012: After struggling with infertility since they got married 8 years ago, Emily’s aunt and uncle adopt a 12-year-old girl named [name_f]Madison[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. [name_f]Madison[/name_f] is unsure about meeting her new cousins at first, but being almost the same age, she quickly realizes she had nothing to worry about as she clicks with [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] right away.
[name_f][/name_f]2013: Since starting middle school, [name_f]Emily[/name_f] has always had a crush [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], a boy in her year. In 8th grade, [name_f]Emily[/name_f] finally works up the courage to ask [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] out-and is promptly rejected. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] spends months moping over it afterwards. (Ah, the joys of teenage love.)
[name_f][/name_f]2014: Now that she’s in high school, [name_f]Emily[/name_f] develops a crush on the star quarterback, whose name is [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_m]Michael[/name_m]. At first, she’s hesitant to make a move after what happened with [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], but with [name_f]Madison[/name_f] and Lauren’s encouragement, she asks [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] out-and to Emily’s surprise, he accepts! They soon begin properly dating, falling more and more in love.
[name_f][/name_f]2015: After adopting three years ago, Emily’s aunt and uncle accepted that they would never have any biological children… until Emily’s aunt unexpectedly falls pregnant! She gives birth to a baby girl and lets [name_f]Madison[/name_f] pick her name-she settles on [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_m]Taylor[/name_m]. [name_f]Madison[/name_f] is excited to become a big sister. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] often come over to babysit, and even [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] drops by sometimes to play with the baby.
[name_f][/name_f]2016: [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] takes [name_f]Emily[/name_f] to homecoming! They have fun dancing the night away.
[name_f][/name_f]2017: Having taken enough credits, [name_f]Emily[/name_f] graduates a year early! (typical Capricorn XD) She enrolls in her dream university, majoring in Biology. She is excited to start a new chapter in life.
[name_f][/name_f]2018: With [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] graduating and starting at the same university [name_f]Emily[/name_f] goes to, majoring in Graphic Design, and with them already being together for four years, [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] decide to get married! They want to have a destination wedding (plus they’re broke 18-year-olds), so they elope in [name_f]Hawaii[/name_f]! But neither of their families are happy…
