[name]Hi[/name], my name is [name]Rachel[/name], my husband’s name is [name]David[/name] and we are expecting a little girl soon.
I already have two sons;
[name]Caleb[/name] [name]Joshua[/name] [name]Brooks[/name] (3)
[name]Asher[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Brooks[/name] (close to 2) (nn [name]Ash[/name])
Our little girl is due [name]October[/name] 2nd and we’re still not even close to finding the perfect name; but we’ve narrowed it down to three first names: [name]Lila[/name] or [name]Lilah[/name], [name]Maya[/name] or [name]Hannah[/name].
Which spelling do you prefer, [name]Lila[/name] or [name]Lilah[/name]? And from all three if you could choose one that you feel is the nicest and would fit in the nicest with our boys that would be much appreciated.
THANKS!
I like [name]Lila[/name] the best. I prefer this spelling. The extra h isnt needed imo. [name]Caleb[/name], [name]Asher[/name], and [name]Lila[/name] all sound fresh and modern yet still classically beautifully. My second choice would be [name]Hannah[/name], my third [name]Maya[/name]. [name]Maya[/name] lack substance imo. I feel like it should be at most a nn (but Im not sure for what). [name]Hannah[/name] is lovely but very common.
I much prefer [name]Lila[/name] spelt without the ‘h’.
I think [name]Hannah[/name] goes best with your sibset but my fave is [name]Lila[/name], followed by [name]Maya[/name].
This is a tough one! Because [name]Hannah[/name] is a Biblical name, I think that it would go well with [name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Asher[/name]. Well, (De)lilah is also one, but it’s different since the full name is [name]Lila[/name]… [name]Maya[/name] is pretty, but maybe too exotic? I guess that I’ll go with [name]Lila[/name]; she’s classic-ish and modern sounding like [name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Asher[/name].
