So I’m just sitting and pondering girls names, my 2 favorites at the moment are [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Emerson[/name].
Which do you like better and which goes better with [name]Jack[/name] which is a definite for a boy?
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] Gracen or [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]
I may end up using both and even need another, but I’d just like to know what you guys think
Thanks as always,
Gracen xx
[name]Emerson[/name] seems like a boys name to me! A cool boys name though. [name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] is beautiful!
Definitely [name]Lila[/name], I agree.
Personally I love a boy name for a girl…my name is [name]Kelly[/name]…and I was named after my dad…so I think it’s cool…(well I like my name even if it’s super popular back in the 80’s) but [name]Emerson[/name] would be my pick and I think it sounds so cute with [name]Jack[/name] …and [name]Lila[/name] is overplayed or lily…
I would nn her [name]Emmy[/name] or [name]Sunny[/name]…so cute!
Definitely [name]Lila[/name]! I love [name]Emerson[/name] for a boy, and if I saw [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Emerson[/name] (which consequently are both on my long boys’ list), I would assume they were brothers. I like that [name]Lila[/name] is short-and-sweet and definitely girly–it goes with [name]Jack[/name] perfectly. [name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] is adorable!
[name]Emerson[/name] always seemed like a boys name to me.
[name]Lila[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] sound lovely together!
My daughter’s name is [name]Emerson[/name], so that is my pick! We call her [name]Emmy[/name] for short. I got a lot of flack from my family about it sounding like a boy name, so we picked an obviously girly middle name (her full name is [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Rose[/name]). It is gaining popularity as a girls name every day.
[name]Emerson[/name] would be nice if you were having a boy (it is a boys name) but since you’re having a girl, [name]Lila[/name] is my pick. [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] sound nice together.
[name]Lila[/name] for sure. [name]Emerson[/name] is much more masculine, and next to something as traditional as [name]Jack[/name], I’d expect [name]Emerson[/name] to be a boy. [name]Lila[/name] is so lovely!
My bf and I like [name]Lila[/name] better :). Good [name]Luck[/name]!
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]!
[name]Lila[/name] has the same vintage feel as [name]Jack[/name] so it gets my vote! [name]Emerson[/name] doesn’t appeal to me at all for either gender.
Definitely [name]Lila[/name]!
I prefer [name]Lila[/name] because it is all girl to go with [name]Jack[/name], an all boy name. [name]Emerson[/name] is a boys name to me, though I know it is unisex. I also love the sound of [name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] Gracen much more. It has a nice ring to it.
Good luck!
Definitely [name]Lila[/name] for a girl.
[name]Lila[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] sounds great together. [name]Emerson[/name] seems like a boy’s name to me.
[name]Emerson[/name] is totally boy, and I don’t support -son names on boys. [name]Addison[/name] and [name]Maddison[/name] are so common that I’m okay with it. But not [name]Emerson[/name].
[name]Jack[/name] and [name]Emerson[/name] is off. If [name]Emerson[/name] was a brother, then it works, but on a girl it seems way off.
[name]Jack[/name] is such a masculine name, and [name]Emerson[/name] is so tomboy for a girl.
But [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Lila[/name]…that’s just perfect.
[name]Both[/name] are clearly masculine/feminine respectively, and they’re four letters each. They look lovely together! I love it.
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] Gracen is eh. The Gracen throws it off. It’s a bit close to [name]Josephine[/name] with Juh- and En sounds.
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is way better imo.
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Gracie[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Josie[/name] Gracen
[name]Lila[/name] Gracen [name]Josie[/name].
These are two of my favorites as well! I favor [name]Emerson[/name] though. I like [name]Emery[/name] too.
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] Gracen is beautiful.
[name]Emerson[/name] is a bit too boyish for me, but cute all the same!
Good luck!

Thank you all so much for your suggestions, naming triplets is hard work but fun too
Today I found out that it’s two boys and a girl, so I’m only going to need one girl name after all.
I can understand what you are all saying about [name]Emerson[/name] being a boy’s name, but I only see a girl with the nn [name]Em[/name]. It’s my maiden name too so it’s kind of a connection. In saying that though, i don’t know how I’d feel about my daughter being assumed to be a boy for her whole life either. [name]Lila[/name] is the front runner for a girl at the moment, and I agree [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] work well together. Ohhh also I decided that after reading your comments that [name]Lila[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Grace[/name] sounds better than Gracen, it’s my nana’s name too.
Sorry to keep asking but what do you think about [name]Lila[/name], [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Ryan[/name]?
Thanks again, I’m taking every comment on board
