Lila or Margot

Which name do you prefer and why?

[name_f]Margot[/name_f]! Warm, stylish and cosy, with a bit of kick too

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] :rainbow: She’s so dreamy. She’s got a very warm, sunny, and classic feel. I think she suits the gambit of personalities! A name that could (and would) be anyone’s friend.

I really enjoy [name_f]Lila[/name_f] as well! I think she’s sparky and zippy. She’s just not quite as versatile or vintage as [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is, which I think gives M the edge over. Two of my favorite people ever are named [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] — I have sweet associations with both these pretty names!

(Also: [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Lila[/name_f] as a combo? Incredible.)

Both are great, but [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is extra special & spunky! :purple_heart:

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] definitely. I don’t like [name_f]Lila[/name_f], and I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but objectively it is more simple to read (only has one way of pronunciation), is more elegant and light yet classic and youthful, has literary connections.

[name_f]Lilah[/name_f], though ai would spell it [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]. I just find it prettier. I don’t like the silent T in [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] sounds nice.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f], because [name_f]Lila[/name_f] is similar to [name_f]Layla[/name_f], and I have met SO many little girls in the last few years named [name_f]Layla[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Lilas[/name_f] would get lost in the crowd.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f]. [name_f]Lila[/name_f] has pronunciation issues.

[name_f]Lila[/name_f]! It’s so pretty and cheerful sounding. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is fun, but I think if it were my name, I’d sometimes want something a bit more delicate/conventionally pretty. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] strikes me as casual, chic, and cool, but not as pretty as [name_f]Lila[/name_f].

[name_f]Margot[/name_f]. [name_f]Lila[/name_f] to me gets lost in a sea of similar.

I love both, [name_f]Lila[/name_f] (lee-lah) means [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] in Spanish so it has a special place in my heart.

I have a [name_f]Margot[/name_f], so I’m very biased here, but it’s a great name. I also love [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and I may have used it for one of my other girls if it wasn’t already my nieces name

[name_f]Lila[/name_f] :purple_heart:

I like both but I have a [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] so it’s my preference.
