I need help please!!! [name_u]Baby[/name_u] is due any day now and I still feel very undecided about our baby girl’s name. Think we have narrowed it down to 2. Our sons name is [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and our surname starts with an ‘A’ and is 2 syllables. Id love your thoughts on:
I really like [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]. But whilst [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] [name_f]Lilian[/name_f] is lovely it is also rather flowery (which you may like, and in this case that name is obviously perfect).
[name_f]Fleur[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] A… would be lovely imo.
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]! Really dont like [name_f]Fleur[/name_f], it sounds like the noise someone makes when something is gross!
I like both but think [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] (or maybe even [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] or [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]) goes better with [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. [name_f]Fleur[/name_f], in my mind, goes with a name like [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] or [name_u]Adrien[/name_u].
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is beautiful imo, it flows beautifully and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] sound like perfect siblings to me
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], it’s such a beautiful combo! [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is pretty, but I agree with a previous poster who said that it’d fit with more vintage, traditional names. [name_m]Issac[/name_m] and [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] sound perfect together!
I prefer [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]. It’s much more distinctive than [name_f]Lilah[/name_f], with the recent popularity of similar names [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Layla[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], etc. I find [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] to be more traditional as well, since it’s a saint’s name ([name_m]Saint[/name_m] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] is known as “[name_f]Fleur[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Flore[/name_f]” in [name_m]French[/name_m]).
I think [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is a fantastic choice as well.
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is beautiful! [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] just doesn’t sound right to me. I want to like it but it’s just not happening.
