[name]Lilah[/name] [name]River[/name] or [name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name]?
Having baby on [name]Tuesday[/name] and have finally narrowed it to these two names! Please help me decide with explanations for your vote
[name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name]! I love [name]Winter[/name] as a MN–it’s just so spunky, sweet, and ethereal to me. [name]River[/name] has always felt masculine to me, so even though I think [name]Lilah[/name] [name]River[/name] could work, I think the softer, sweeter [name]Winter[/name] pairs better with the short-and-sweet [name]Lilah[/name] as opposed to the more harsh (not in a bad way–it’s just not as soft as [name]Winter[/name]) [name]River[/name].
Good luck!
[name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name] for sure!! So lovely. I agree with ash that [name]River[/name] sounds more masculine to me.
My heart says [name]Lilah[/name] [name]River[/name], because I am so fond of the name [name]River[/name], and of rivers in general.
But [name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name] sounds so much prettier put together, so it gets my vote.
I am so torn!!!
[name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name]. I love the name [name]Winter[/name] for a girl because it’s a pretty seasonal name that is so rarely used. Plus I agree with others who have said that [name]River[/name] sounds masculine.
[name]Both[/name] are really nice… [name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name] does sound more girly…but I like both
[name]River[/name] definitly. [name]Winter[/name] sounds so cold…
[name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name]!! It sounds the best of the two and I adore [name]Winter[/name]!! It’s so icy cool and hot at the same time!
[name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name]!
I think of [name]River[/name] as a boy’s name but I just love [name]Winter[/name] for a girl - it makes me think of skiing, fun times and snow, which makes me think of ‘winter wonderland’ and beautiful lacy snowflakes. It’s like the sophisticated, elegant sister of [name]Summer[/name].
[name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name]-- so pretty!
I like the flow better for some reason. And I prefer the name [name]Winter[/name] over [name]River[/name].
Yes, I agree - [name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name] for sure!
although I am not a fan of the season winter I do like the name…[name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name] sounds famous…
I like it…
Thanks everyone! [name]Will[/name] post the final name next week when she’s here!
[name]Lilah[/name] [name]River[/name] if you’re going to pronounce it “lie-lah”
[name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name] if you’re going to pronounce it “lee-lah”
Either way I prefer the “lie-lah” pronunciation and if that’s the case I like [name]River[/name] more than [name]Winter[/name].
It’s pronounced ‘Lie-lah’
I love the name [name]Lilah[/name]!!! Of course I am a little biased because my middle name is [name]Lyla[/name] (pronounced the same). I love [name]River[/name] and [name]Winter[/name] so I am a little torn, but when I say the two names outloud, and read them seperately [name]Lilah[/name] [name]Winter[/name] stands out and sounds gorgeous
