We had thought we had our top 5 or so names but then we came across [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and fell in love with it! What do you all think of it? Is it too close in sound to [name_f]India[/name_f] because of the “ia” endings?
I don’t think it’s too close to [name_f]India[/name_f] at all! I quite like [name_f]Lilia[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f] might be less confusing. I work in younger grades in schools, and I know like, reading an attendance sheet quickly makes it easy to make mistakes - my only concern would be that little [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] gets mixed up with a [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. Other than that, it’s fine!
We had thought about it possibly being mixed with [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] but then we also thought that we’d have issues with some of our other choices ([name_f]Thisbe[/name_f], [name_f]Selah[/name_f], and [name_f]Veda[/name_f] mainly) so we’re not sure if that is a huge concern to us at this point. We also really like how it is a less common version of [name_f]Lily[/name_f] The only thing we are not sure is “[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]” since we have decided to use [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] as a middle name
I think [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] is a bit too much ‘L’. Might end up like more of a tongue twister, aha!
sigh I knew it was too good to be true! I’ve just been falling out of love with all of the names we originally picked We really want to use [name_f]Leonie[/name_f] because of it’s meaning to us and I’m really liking [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. Any new ideas that may flow better???
