Lillian, Adelaide and Florence?

[name]Hi[/name]! I love [name]Lillian[/name], Adlaide, and [name]Florence[/name], but with your last name, I personally wouldn’t use [name]Florence[/name]. (I love [name]Flora[/name], though, and [name]Flora[/name] N_____ isn’t as obvious an association as [name]Florence[/name] N____ is to me.)

I really, really love your idea of [name]Cecelia[/name]!

Some more:

[name]Eleanora[/name]
[name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name] (Oops…Not the best with a last name beginning with N)
[name]Mirabel[/name]

Good luck!

[name]Lillian[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name] - so sweet! You need something as classic as [name]Lillian[/name] with the vintage quirkiness of [name]Adelaide[/name]…

Oh, [name]Florence[/name] works, and I like [name]Flora[/name] as a nickname, but that [name]Florence[/name] Nightingale situation, though not “bad,” is just a bit odd. Also, the whole Aunt [name]Flo[/name] situation - should her name ever be shortened to [name]Flo[/name] - just rubs me the wrong way…

[name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Lillian[/name], and …

[name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Caroline[/name], [name]Christina[/name], [name]Charlotta[/name], [name]Camilla[/name], [name]Clementine[/name]
[name]Diana[/name]
[name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Eloise[/name]

[name]Susannah[/name]
[name]Theresa[/name]
[name]Victoria[/name], [name]Vanessa[/name], [name]Vivian[/name]
[name]Winifred[/name]

Like any? I chose three-syllable names, like [name]Lillian[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name].

[name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Lillian[/name] &

[name]Rosamund[/name]/[name]Rosemary[/name]
[name]Tabitha[/name]

[name]Caroline[/name], [name]Camilla[/name],
[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Helena[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name], [name]Matilda[/name]

I will ask dh about these!
We have [name]Vivienne[/name] on our middle name list.[/quote]

Great! I also thought of [name]Cecily[/name] and [name]Celia[/name] to fit into the three-syllable pattern of [name]Lillian[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name], as options similar to [name]Cecilia[/name]…

I really like [name]Cecelia[/name] with [name]Lillian[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name]. I like it more than [name]Florence[/name]

Thank you  Me too.

We can’t decide between [name]Cecelia[/name] and [name]Coraline[/name].[/quote]

I love [name]Cecelia[/name], so here’s one vote for [name]Cecelia[/name]!

Take care!

Yes, [name]Cecelia[/name] does fit and I like [name]Cecelia[/name] but I am leaning towards [name]Cecily[/name] more, I think that [name]Cecily[/name] with [name]Adelaide[/name] is great, it reminds me of [name]Kate[/name] and I love the spunkiness of [name]Kate[/name].

[name]Cecily[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Fleur[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name]
[name]Dorothea[/name] [name]Mary[/name] nn [name]Thea[/name]
[name]Isadora[/name] [name]Lily[/name]
[name]Damara[/name] [name]Iris[/name]
[name]Stella[/name] [name]Rosemary[/name]
[name]Eliza[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], nice combo, [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Lillian[/name]
[name]Sarah[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Ruby[/name]
[name]Cassandra[/name] [name]Olive[/name]

Thank you  And you too.
[name]Do[/name] you think it’d work in a New Zealand accent though? :p[/quote]

I’m not sure! I’m in the U.S…I’m thinking of [name]Anna[/name] Paquin’s accent, and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Hmm…

I really love the names you’ve chosen!

Good luck!

keiley I am an Aussie so I just love [name]Matilda[/name] but if you chose [name]Cecelia[/name] it would be lovely too.

I think you say [name]Cecelia[/name] a little faster than we do, the Ce is a little more clipped. Am I right?

PS Start singing ‘Waltzing [name]Matilda[/name]’ and tell him when you travel to Australia he has to know all the words and not only that one of the family has to have the name [name]Matilda[/name] on their passport to get into the country! (Aussie sense of humour here).

[name]LILLIAN[/name]! I love it.

If you were born here you are an Aussie! And no, it is not too Australian, how many people in the world would be able to connect the dots? Not only that it is a great association I am all for it.

When my parents named me Mum chose the first name and Dad the second name. Maybe that way you could get [name]Matilda[/name]?

Are you having triplets?

[name]Lillian[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name] are beautiful! I think [name]Cecilia[/name] goes great;) nn C.C.

What about [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Matilda[/name]
[name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Cecelia[/name] [name]Florence[/name]

No, just one. But we want to sort out a sib-set, I feel very strongly about having names that work with each other.[/quote]

So you’re going to name this baby [name]Lillian[/name], but want to make sure you have at least two other corresponding girls’ names because after this you want to have at least two more children, and you want to be prepared if all three are girls?

[name]Do[/name] you mean first child and second child or first name and middle name?
I’m all for having [name]Matilda[/name] as a middle if it means I get it, because I can call her by that, but there aren’t really girls names that he likes enough to have as a first name except [name]Roxanne[/name] and [name]Sally[/name], and I am not having kids named [name]Roxanne[/name] or [name]Sally[/name]! xD[/quote]

[name]Hi[/name] [name]Keiley[/name]

I have a sister I was the first child and she was the second and both times Mum chose the first name and Dad chose the second name.

Dad chose [name]Lucille[/name] for my sis as he loved the “I [name]Love[/name] [name]Lucy[/name] Show”, ([name]Lucille[/name] Ball was the actress in the show).

Ask him if he would mind having [name]Matilda[/name] in the mn spot. Otherwise do a drama queen act and say that you really, really have to have [name]Matilda[/name] and could he just let you have this name because you [name]LOVE[/name] it so much.

I agree that [name]Roxanne[/name] wouldn’t be on my agenda but I am partial to [name]Sally[/name] but would prefer [name]Sarah[/name] or [name]Sara[/name].

I think all of your choices are beautiful but believe it or not my name is [name]Caroline[/name]. I only found out recently that there have been two more in my father’s family which makes me appreciate it more.

However, the thing I hate about [name]Caroline[/name] is the nn of [name]Carol[/name], it sent me mad, but I love the nn’s of [name]Cara[/name], [name]Carly[/name], [name]Carys[/name], even [name]Carolina[/name].

[name]Do[/name] worry I am not offended at all but thought it was funny that you felt it was ‘boring’ and you unwittingly told it to a [name]Caroline[/name].

I am still in there hoping that DH will give in and let you have [name]Matilda[/name].

You mustn’t be sorry I didn’t mention it to make you feel bad.

Actually I haven’t heard of [name]Caroline[/name]'s for years. I think they must be making a comeback.

I know [name]Rollo[/name] was a [name]Caroline[/name], but I didn’t realize you’re one, too! You’re both so lucky! I would love to be named [name]Caroline[/name]! (No fair…)

Take care!
