Personally I find a [name_u]June[/name_u] born in [name_u]June[/name_u] just a little too on the nose. You really can’t go wrong g either way as they’re lovely names, but my vote goes to [name_f]Lillian[/name_f].
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
I think you could use [name_u]June[/name_u] no matter what month she’s born in. While [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is a beautiful name, [name_f]Lily[/name_f] in all of its forms is way over done. [name_u]June[/name_u] is more unique, while still being a classic. [name_m]How[/name_m] cute would a little [name_f]Junie[/name_f] be? Totally stand out amongst all of the [name_f]Lily[/name_f]/Lillians at the playground!
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
[name_u]June[/name_u] is such a lovely, underused gem of a name!
I agree with the others. No matter when she’s born, [name_u]June[/name_u] is a usable name. I don’t assume every [name_f]Summer[/name_f] was born during the summer, I wouldn’t do the same for a [name_u]June[/name_u]. If you’re still sceptical you could go for [name_f]Juno[/name_f]/[name_f]Junia[/name_f]/[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] “[name_u]June[/name_u]” though I prefer it on its own.
I like it much more than [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]. I find it a bit overused and tired at this point, with all the Lilys and Laylas.
If I were you I’d choose [name_u]June[/name_u] and if anything, I’d prefer my child were born in a different month if I was using the name [name_u]June[/name_u]. Anyway, it’s a beautiful name and [name_f]Juni[/name_f]/[name_f]Juno[/name_f] are the sweetest nicknames. I’m actually due in 2.5 weeks and will be using [name_u]June[/name_u] as my daughter’s middle name after my father’s birth month (he passed away when I was younger). I’d consider it as a first name or as a nickname for [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] or [name_f]Juno[/name_f] (I love all three iterations) but unfortunately my partner vetoed them.
Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I love a [name_u]June[/name_u] born in [name_u]June[/name_u]! I know plenty of babies names for other various circumstances of their birth/the mother’s pregnancy, so I don’t see why using that is a no-no.
I don’t think you CAN’T use [name_u]June[/name_u] for a [name_u]July[/name_u] baby, but my plan would likely be the same as yours. Like others said, if you’re loving [name_u]June[/name_u], you could use [name_f]Juno[/name_f]/[name_f]Junia[/name_f]/[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] instead, if you’re like me and like [name_u]June[/name_u]-in-[name_u]June[/name_u] only. But [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is lovely too. If it makes you feel better/satisfies a need, lilies are a [name_u]July[/name_u]/summer flower, and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] would be cute too.
I love the name [name_u]June[/name_u]!! [name_f]IMO[/name_f] you can use it whatever month your baby is born in, it’s a gorgeous name and when your baby is born does not change that.
[name_u]June[/name_u] is one of my favourite names, it’s beautiful and unique. It definitely doesn’t matter if your baby is born in [name_u]July[/name_u], [name_u]June[/name_u] still works.
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is super outdated, in my opinion. [name_u]June[/name_u] has my vote!
I love [name_u]June[/name_u] nn [name_f]Junie[/name_f]!
I’d hope that you’d love the name regardless of what month she’s born in. After all, it’s a legitimate, timeless name. Now, if you were naming her [name_u]November[/name_u] in the middle of the summer, I’d have some questions, but if [name_u]June[/name_u]'s what you love, go for it regardless at this point.
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] / [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] are both great combos.
Thank you so much for all your advice. I think I’m going to let fate decide! A [name_u]June[/name_u] in [name_u]June[/name_u] and a [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] in [name_u]July[/name_u]. The poll is almost 50/50 so to have two great names is a blessing.
I love [name_u]June[/name_u]! So pretty, fresh and yet old-fashioned. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] in any month!
I find it a little hokey to use [name_u]June[/name_u] for a baby born in [name_u]June[/name_u]. All her records will be double-Juned for her name and DOB. [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is lovely and feels summery!
