Lilo as a nickname for…

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]?

Open to suggestions but cannot be Elle/Ella/Ellie.

We have thought about [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] (maybe a stretch?) and [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] (maybe too cutesy?).

What else can you think of …

[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Lo[/name_f]
[name_u]Issa[/name_u]
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]

[name_f]Philomena[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Lilo[/name_f] works for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]! [name_f]Lolo[/name_f] or [name_u]Isa[/name_u] could work too.

I think as [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is rather short it doesn’t need a non-cutesy nickname as she could just use her full name in those situations.
[name_f]Lilo[/name_f] feels quite stretchy, [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] works well enough, [name_u]Lou[/name_u] or [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] also work but I think that a nickname will also just develop naturally once the child is born

I think it could work

[name_f]Lise[/name_f], [name_f]Lissy[/name_f], [name_f]Lolo[/name_f] maybe?

I think it works! [name_u]Lou[/name_u] and [name_f]Lolly[/name_f] are my personal favourite nns for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]

Have you considered [name_f]Lilou[/name_f]?

It is close to both [name_f]Lilo[/name_f] and [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] but it stays connected to [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] (Lou syllable) in a way that [name_f]Lilo[/name_f] doesn’t and isn’t as cutesy as [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] is. But I do love [name_f]Lilo[/name_f] and [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]!

Another option would be [name_f]Lula[/name_f], I’ve heard it used for [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] but there’s no reason it couldn’t work for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]!
