I love [name]Liliana[/name]!
[name]Liliana[/name] [name]Grace[/name], [name]Liliana[/name] [name]Audrey[/name], [name]Liliana[/name] [name]Isobel[/name] - lovely

[name]Hi[/name]! I voted for [name]Liliana[/name], but I love [name]Lily[/name], just [name]Lily[/name], too. [name]Lily[/name] is #24 in popularity, [name]Lillian[/name] is #29, and [name]Liliana[/name] is #150. Because all [name]Lily[/name] names combined are so popular, I personally think you should just go with the one you love most. I mean, yes, [name]Liliana[/name] is less popular than [name]Lily[/name], but it still begins with the “[name]Lily[/name]” sound, so it really doesn’t feel like a vastly different name to me.

(I do love [name]Liliane[/name], but when I see it, my first thought is to think that it’s a misspelling of [name]Lillian[/name], which is a shame, because I love French names.)

You may also like [name]Lilia[/name] (#932) and [name]Lilac[/name], which isn’t ranked.

I think every name you listed is very pretty, and if [name]Lily[/name] or [name]Lillian[/name] are your favorites, I think you should with them, especially because of your grandma.

(And to me, [name]Evelyn[/name] and [name]Lillian[/name] are too similar, but I think that [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Evelyn[/name] work beautifully.)

From your list of middles:

[name]Lillian[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Lillian[/name] [name]Grace[/name]

[name]Lily[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Lily[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]

If you can’t find a [name]Lily[/name] name that works for you, you could always use [name]Susannah[/name], which means “[name]Lily[/name].”

Good luck!

Thanks for your imput! [name]Jill[/name], I think you’re right, due to the combined popularity, I should just use my favourite, which I think is [name]Lily[/name]. Hopefully in the next few years it will die down a little… wishful thinking, I know!
I love [name]Lily[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], I think this is my favourite combo, with sister [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Grace[/name].
I’m glad you could help me clear my thoughts a little!

I agree with [name]Jill[/name] about the popularity and just going with the one you like the most. My daughter is [name]Lilianna[/name] (nn [name]Lily[/name]) and I knew it was really popular when I chose it, but I just loved it so much because it honored my mother ([name]Susan[/name]), grandmother ([name]Ann[/name]) and my great-aunt [name]Lillian[/name]. And I do not regret the decision one bit. Sometimes you just have to go with the name that is special to you no matter what.

And I did want to let you know that the rankings of the names actually do not give a clear indicator of [name]Lily[/name]'s real popularity. I actually added all the sister names together to see how the names with their variants actually came out in the standing. When added together [name]Lily[/name]/[name]Lillian[/name]/[name]Liliana[/name] (and all the different spellings) are #3. They are #4 if you combine [name]Emma[/name] with the [name]Emily[/name] family. But again, my daughter is a [name]Lily[/name] and I don’t regret my decision at all.

[name]Hi[/name] [name]Liz[/name]! I love [name]Lily[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] so much, and think [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Evelyn[/name] are perfect together. I agree with K about a name’s meaning being more important than popularity, and K, I think [name]Liliana[/name] is gorgeous.

Have a good night!

[name]Lily[/name]
Lilybeth (how cute?)
[name]Lily[/name]-[name]Ann[/name]
[name]Lilianna[/name]/[name]Lilyanna[/name]
[name]Lilia[/name]
…-[name]Lily[/name] (e.g [name]Ciara[/name]-[name]Lily[/name])

Lilybeth would be weird as my name is [name]Elizabeth[/name]. It also seems kind of country but it is cute.
I was thinking [name]Lily[/name]-[name]Anne[/name], but I’m not convinced, hmm.
[name]Lilliana[/name] is still one of my choices for sure, I just keep thinking it’s a little too long and frilly… although I do like it.
I don’t like [name]Lilia[/name] like lil-eee-ah sounds weird too me, too many syllables for too short of a name.
What would you suggest for …-[name]Lily[/name]? I’m stumped!
Thanks for your help

I’m glad to hear from someone who recently names their daughter [name]Lilianna[/name]/[name]Lily[/name]. I’m happy you don’t regret it even though it’s popular. Where do you like (country-wise, you don’t have to be specific) and how many other little girls called [name]Lily[/name] (or variations thereof) have you come across?

I live in a suburb of [name]Denver[/name], [name]Colorado[/name]. I tried to think of a good description, but I figure giving the metro area is a better description! And, I HEAR about other little girls [name]Lily[/name]'s age named [name]Lily[/name]/[name]Lillian[/name]/[name]Lillian[/name] all the time. However, I have yet to meet one. Also, I have heard the name [name]Lily[/name] used to call a child in the mall/store a couple of times. But in those cases they were always like 5/6 years old. So, I guess it really isn’t too bad yet.

Also, I tried to think of a -[name]Lily[/name] name. I thought of [name]Cate[/name]-[name]Lily[/name], [name]Anne[/name]-[name]Lily[/name] and as I was thinking about it, I realized that names like that sound like they are a type of [name]Lily[/name], like [name]Tiger[/name] [name]Lily[/name] or [name]Calla[/name] [name]Lily[/name]. So, if you did a double first name, I would put [name]Lily[/name] first. And I actually do like [name]Lily[/name]-[name]Anne[/name] quite a bit. Also, one of the pet names we call our [name]Lilianna[/name] is Lilwen. It’s welsh for “white lily.” I don’t know if it’s your style, but it is different than all the other [name]Lily[/name] names.

And, [name]Jill[/name], thanks for the compliment on my daughter’s name. We love it and it seems to suit her personality.

[name]Lilia[/name]
[name]Lilac[/name]
[name]Lileas[/name]/[name]Lilias[/name]

I voted for [name]Lily[/name], but [name]Lileas[/name] is my ultimate favourite! ^^

I have loved the name [name]Lily[/name] since I was a little girl. Since I have had 2 boys I never got a chance to use it yet! I adore it but the popularity is also an issue for me- I have also considered [name]Lila[/name] or [name]Isla[/name]. They are similiar but less popular- however, since you are naming after your grandma I don’t think any of that matters- name her after your grandma and you will be happy!

I guess I’ll decide when the time comes as for now I’m torn between [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Lilliana[/name].

Also, what does anyone think of [name]Lily[/name]-[name]Mae[/name] or [name]Lily[/name]-[name]May[/name]?
