Lily Roseman?

Not pregnant but have been thinking about names recently and I really love the first name [name_f]Lily[/name_f] but I’m unsure if it pairs ok with my surname Roseman. Is it too flowery? I had someone tell me it sounds tacky so I’m not sure.

I think it works, but if you’re really worried, [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] Roseman nn [name_f]Lily[/name_f] (or even Lilli) makes the flower theme less noticeable!

(Also, a “flower themed” full name is way more wearable than, like, naming your kid [name_u]John[/name_u] Deere or something. It’s cute!)

I thin [name_f]Lily[/name_f] Roseman is fine! [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is so well established as a name that it works

I think it’s sweet!

I feel like it is too floral. Spelling it Lilly might help a bit though as that is less wordy.

I like it! It’s floral but not too flowery, if that makes sense. Roseman is actually quite a down-to-earth sounding surname (literally!) and I think light, delicate [name_f]Lily[/name_f] complements it nicely.

Not too flowery but it may be misunderstood as Lily-Rose [name_u]Man[/name_u] a few times - not too difficult to correct, though.
