Hello berries! I would love some help on this mini dilemma! My husband and I picked out the name [name]Lily[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] to add to our list of girls names, joining [name]Cora[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]. However, yesterday we were talking about the name [name]Lila[/name]/[name]Lilah[/name] and we both love that too! [name]Sophie[/name] is a family name. However I prefer its two sylable form [name]Sophia[/name]. But to me, [name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] sounds too ‘a’ heavy. What do you think?[name]Lily[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]? [name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]? [name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophie[/name]? Or maybe [name]Lilah[/name] or [name]Lyla[/name] spelling? Also, not completely sold on [name]Sophia[/name]/[name]Sophie[/name] either. My husband likes it more than I do! So I’d be open for different middle suggestions as well! Help please!
I like both, they’re very sweet. I prefer [name]Sophie[/name] to [name]Sophia[/name], it’s so sweet and adorable. [name]Sophia[/name] is gorgeous too. But I prefer [name]Lily[/name] to [name]Lila[/name]…
[name]Lillia[/name] [name]Sophie[/name], [name]Lilja[/name] [name]Sophie[/name]? [name]Lily[/name] [name]Sofia[/name]?
[name]Lillian[/name] [name]Sophie[/name]
Maybe you’d like [name]Sonia[/name]/[name]Sonja[/name] (Russian diminutive of [name]Sophia[/name]) or [name]Zosia[/name] (Polish version of [name]Sophia[/name]).
I much prefer [name]Lyla[/name] to [name]Lily[/name], I’m not completely sure why I have really different views about such similar names, I just feel that [name]Lyla[/name] is much stronger, and you could always use [name]Lily[/name] as a nn if you prefer it. I also think [name]Sophie[/name] is a lovely mn.
[name]Lily[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] is really pretty!
[name]Lila[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] are both popular, so it’s not that… but I see [name]Lila[/name] as very ‘trendy’ atm, whereas [name]Lily[/name] complements [name]Cora[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name] perfectly.
I adore the combo [name]Lily[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. It has such a lovely flow. [name]Lily[/name] [name]Sofia[/name] would be even better. [name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] on the other hand seems choppy, and seems like you’ve just put two ‘nice’ names together.
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophronia[/name] would undoubtedly spunk it up!
As much as I adore [name]Lily[/name], I have to say that [name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] is pretty unexpected and I really like it.
So, I thought my husband would absolutely love [name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] but it turns out he shot it down right away! He said he likes [name]Lily[/name] way better… so I guess [name]Lily[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] it is! And when I read [name]Lila[/name] along with [name]Cora[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name]… [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name] seems a bit much together!
Yay! I was going to vote [name]Lily[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]!
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophie[/name].
[name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophie[/name]
I like [name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] a bit more than [name]Lily[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. I do like [name]Lily[/name] [name]Sophia[/name], though. It’s cute. Regarding [name]Cora[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], and [name]Lily[/name], the only thing that bothers me (and bother isn’t the right word I’m looking for, because it isn’t as dramatic as a BOTHER), is that [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] are members of the plant species while [name]Cora[/name] is not. I’m not usually overly concerned about matchiness of sibsets, but I keep seeing [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Lily[/name] paired up and [name]Cora[/name] sitting by itself.
That aside, all the names are darling.
I like lily [name]Sophia[/name] that lovely name and sound good then other name. I would like to say you that you have to use this name. Its really very cute name.
I like [name]Lila[/name] [name]Sophie[/name].
[name]Lilia[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] get’s my vote.
While [name]Lily[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] is beautiful as well I feels more common to me.
[name]Lilia[/name] [name]Sophie[/name] feels like an interesting twist on what could be a much more popular combo.
