Linay

What do you think of the name Linay? I think it sounds pretty. It sounds like a shortened version of [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] to me.

Also, is [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] pronounced Lin-ay-a or Linny-a? I’m not sure now.

Not crazy about it, but I could see it working. [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] is pronounce lin-AY-uh

I really like [name_f]Linnea[/name_f], pronounced li-NAY-ah and prefer it over Linay as I think [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] is well enough known that it would be the expected spelling.

Linay isn’t my favourite, mainly due to its spelling which looks off to me somehow.

[name_f]Linnea[/name_f] you can pronounce however you want in [name_f]English[/name_f], as the original Swedish E sound isn’t found in the [name_f]English[/name_f] language

I think it’s pretty, but would personally prefer it spelled either Linae or Linnae. [name_u]Or[/name_u] maybe Lynae?
