I wanted to get your thoughts on the name [name_u]Lindsey[/name_u]. What are some nicknames that you associate with this name? I really like this name but is it to 80s and 90s? [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is very pretty as well however I can’t help but think of it as an old grandma name. Also, [name_m]Lay[/name_m] is one of my favorite nicknames but the only way I know how to get the nickname [name_m]Lay[/name_m] is with [name_f]Layla[/name_f] and I don’t particular like the name [name_f]Layla[/name_f]. Are there any ways to get the nickname [name_m]Lay[/name_m] other than using [name_f]Layla[/name_f]?

[name_u]Lindsey[/name_u] is quite nice - a little dated for my tastes but it would be exciting to meet a little [name_u]Lindsey[/name_u]. I’d consider the nicknames [name_f]Linnie[/name_f], [name_f]Lindy[/name_f], Seesee

I love Lydia!! It strikes me as vintage and back on trend.

Thank you! Lydia is one of my favs just not sure if I can see it being used on a little girl but that’s probably because I have never met a girl named Lydia.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] I’m a [name_u]Lindsey[/name_u] :hugs: I’ve been called Linz / Linds, [name_f]Linny[/name_f], [name_f]Lindy[/name_f], [name_u]Indy[/name_u], and [name_f]Lu[/name_f]. I really love [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]! While I do like my name, I think I’d prefer to be a [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] if I had the choice

[name_u]Lindsey[/name_u] is nice, but I do see where you are coming from in terms of datedness. I think [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is really cute and I can definitely imagine it in a little girl!

Have you thought about [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] or similar nn [name_m]Lay[/name_m]?

I know a little girl [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] as well as a young woman [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]! I think it feels much fresher and less dated than [name_u]Lindsay[/name_u].

To get to [name_m]Lay[/name_m], maybe [name_u]Lacy[/name_u], [name_f]Lainey[/name_f], [name_f]Elaine[/name_f], [name_f]Elaina[/name_f], [name_f]Leilani[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]?
