As a fraternal twin, apparently I have a one in seventeen chance of having twins? Which I find very exciting :). This is my sibset/twin pairing. I totally love both names and would love to hear your thoughts. We are ttc and hoping for good news someday soon.
I love [name_f]Linnea[/name_f], and [name_f]Thea[/name_f] is sweet, but they are too similar to be sibling names for my taste (same -ea ending, although not necessarily pronounced the same way). If that doesn’t bother you then I would say go for it! They are both perfectly lovely combos

I agree with yuma that the endings are very similar and a little too rhymy in sound together.
Ok that’s fair enough. In my opinion, the only thing that [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f] share is the last letter. Different syllables, origins etc. My nieces’ names are [name_f]Mia[/name_f] and Yva, which are extremely samey!! And also my cousins are called [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] and [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f]… etc. So I guess we just have different baselines for samey.
I agree that [name_f]Thea[/name_f] and [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] may share an ending that is too close. Although perhaps you’d appreciate these suggestions?

I’m with you. I don’t mind the ending. I might suggest [name_f]Thea[/name_f] being a nickname for [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] simply because I love that name (and it may help break up the “samey-ness”).

this might be a little weird but i play the sims and my sims family has twin girls named thea and linnea! i think they’re cute together, and since the endings are pronounced differently i don’t think they’re too matchy:)
