What do you think? I’m in search of [name_u]French[/name_u], [name_f]English[/name_f], possible Italian Renaissance name to bridge the gap between [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
FYI: el la SET and laur ah LINE is how I’m pronouncing them in my head
Lisette, Elisette, and [name_f]Laureline[/name_f] are all such great names! I especially love [name_f]Laureline[/name_f]! I’ve never heard it before and it’s so pretty!
Lisette is pretty I like its soft and melodic sound. [name_f]Laureline[/name_f] is nice, an unusual alternative to common (but lovely) Laur- names. Elisette might grow on me but I prefer [name_f]Elise[/name_f].
Potential dissenting voice, but Elisette is actually my favourite. [name_f]Lisette[/name_f] feels a bit more stilted, whereas Elisette feels like it has more movement. [name_f]Laureline[/name_f] is also cool, I think it’s my second favourite.
I suggested this name a few years ago to another nameberry user, but the spelling was [name_f]Laraline[/name_f], meaning [name_u]Gull[/name_u]/Seagull (she was looking for a bird related name, and I believe she ended up using it).
