What are your thoughts on [name]Lison[/name]?
Is it too similar to liason, or could the familiarity of [name]Alison[/name] help it work as a name in an English speaking context?

[name]Lison[/name]… I dislike it. Sorry! Sounds like reason, right? [name]Reason[/name], listen, liason… If you love it, then you should go for it. Nothing outright wrong wit the name, just nms.
I do know a [name]Lisette[/name]. And I love [name]Liesl[/name]. Especially [name]Liesl[/name] [name]Von[/name] Trapp singing “I am 16 going on 17”
Aw, sorry, but I’m not a fan of the sound. When I saw it I thought it was pronounced LICE-un, and you can see the obvious problem I have with that sound. Also, rhymes with bison. Not pretty images for a girl. If it’s pronounced [name]LEE[/name]-son, I think you will have people mispronouncing it all the time. Maybe you could spell that sound out differently? Leason? Leeson? Leesan, Leesyn? I agree with the previous poster on the suggestion of [name]Liesl[/name]. I love it, spelled [name]Liesel[/name]. It came to mind when I read the title of this post.
