[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries!
Had a big crush on literary names!
But literary names are usually vintage (like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] Florence),
Is there any names that are literary yet modern?

I guess it depends on what you consider literature. Are you thinking of books that are considered “classics”, the literary canon? Modern literature (e.g. books published since the 1960s) will have many more modern names than Victorian literature, for example.
great point!
i’d say modern literature
[name_f]Alaska[/name_f]
[name_m]Amir[/name_m]
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
Éowyn
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]
[name_m]Pi[/name_m]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Ronja[/name_f]
What a wonderful prompt!
Here are some names from modern literature:
[name_f]Scout[/name_f]
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]India[/name_f]
[name_m]Julian[/name_m]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f]
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]
[name_m]Rudy[/name_m]
[name_m]Sawyer[/name_m]
[name_m]Augie[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
You could also go less classic, with the likes of [name_f]Arya[/name_f], [name_f]Sansa[/name_f], [name_f]Hermione[/name_f], [name_m]Sirius[/name_m], [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], etc. Not sure if this is the vibe you’re going for though!
Of course, there are also a handful of modern-sounding names from classic texts. These are from pre-1900 literature. Note that most of these I would consider universal classics that have a trendy vibe, rather than “modern” names.
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] (Mercédès)
[name_f]Darcy[/name_f]
(Huckleberry) [name_m]Finn[/name_m]
(Jane) [name_f]Eyre[/name_f]
[name_m]Orlando[/name_m]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_m]Santiago[/name_m]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f]
[name_m]Tristan[/name_m]
If you consider these literary names, you could draw from classic authors as well, e.g. [name_m]Austen[/name_m], [name_m]Wilde[/name_m], [name_m]Woolf[/name_m], [name_f]Bronte[/name_f], etc.
Thank you!
Yes you did capture the vibe I was trying to describe! I love [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] and [name_f]Darcy[/name_f], and perhaps also [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] (if it wasn’t sooooooo popular).
I don’t actually mind the actual publishing date for the literature as long as they sounds modern!
Hahah [name_m]Pi[/name_m] is so cute, sound like someone who’s good at math and can recite the 159th of π in their sleep.
I do love [name_f]Lyra[/name_f]. I love its meaning and the starting letter L, however was not so interested in the sound.
