Last [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], we welcomed our 2nd baby boy, [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_m]Adler[/name_m]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] was a last minute suggestion by my husband and it just felt so right.
In a happy twist, we realized [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and big brother [name_m]Eero[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] have a shared meaning! [name_m]Eero[/name_m] means eternal ruler and we discovered (after the fact) [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is actually a Welsh name meaning ruler, so a very funny coincidence!
Thanks to all those who weighed in and helped narrow down our options - naming a 2nd boy seemed almost impossible!
Congratulations! I love [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_m]Adler[/name_m] so much on a little boy, and it flows so nicely with [name_m]Eero[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. Best wishes to you and your family!
Aila
Thank you so much, Aila!!
Congratulations, [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_m]Adler[/name_m] is a fantastic name!
If I remember your past posts correctly, wasn’t [name_m]Eero[/name_m] named for the architect [name_m]Eero[/name_m] Saarinen? In which case [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is a pretty perfect choice for his brother ([name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_u]Wren[/name_u])!
Wow, I absolutely love [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_m]Eero[/name_m] together! Congrats on the baby boy!!
Thanks everyone!
” It definitely suits him perfectly. @katinka yes! [name_m]Eero[/name_m] is named so because of Saarinen, great memory! And there is the connection to architecture for [name_u]Wren[/name_u] because of [name_m]Christopher[/name_m], too, without (hopefully) being TOO obvious (we were trying to not be too theme-y ha). [name_u]Wren[/name_u] really worked out as a happy coincidence on all fronts!
What a beautiful name and lovely sibset!
