Little brother for Jackson Phoenix.....

[name]Hi[/name] ladies,

I have been a big nameberry reader and follower for ages but i am yet to have posted anything!!

I knew that I would be one day posting a thread though - and relying on all your wonderful opinions to help me out !!!

And so here it is - my dilemma…

I have a 4 year old son named [name]Jackson[/name] [name]Phoenix[/name], and i [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] his name, always have. He is known always as [name]Jackson[/name] (not [name]Jack[/name]) or jackson [name]Phoenix[/name] or JP.

I am now divorced from his father though and am blessed enough to have found a beautiful new partner who i am now having a baby to. (5 weeks to go!!) This is such happy news as i thought after separating from JP’s dad that I would never be able to give him a brother or sister…

But here we are. First dilemma…

We are pretty certain that new bubs name will be [name]Chase[/name].

But I am at a roadblock when it comes to the rest of his name. [name]Jackson[/name] has his fathers surname whilst I have reverted back to my maiden name… and i think i want [name]Chase[/name] to have HIS fathers surname - which is obviously different to Jacksons and then also different to mine… Aughhh - it all sounds so messy.
And yet i want [name]Jackson[/name] and [name]Chase[/name] to be connected as brothers in mane also…
What to do???

The few thoughts that have rushed thru my head are these…

[name]Do[/name] i give [name]Chase[/name] the same middle name as [name]Jackson[/name]?
[name]Do[/name] i give [name]Chase[/name] MY surname as his middle name? Sometimes jackson says his name is [name]Jackson[/name] [name]Phoenix[/name] (my name) his Surname.
[name]Do[/name] i give [name]Chase[/name] his own middle name with a similar vibe to [name]Phoenix[/name] and then put my maiden name as both boys second middle name??

Or do i just give [name]Chase[/name] a middle name of his own and his dads surname?

If so - what middle name do u suggest???

Oh i am soooooo sorry for so many confusing questions… I have needed to get this off my chest for a while and i have felt too embarrassed…

By the way, i am from Australia… (in case that makes a difference to any of your answers…?!)

Thanking u all sooooooo much in advance…

P.S. My maiden name is [name]Kennedy[/name] - thought it may help to know…

I like the same middle name idea. I think it would help tie them together like you are intending to do. My sister, mom, grandma and cousin all had the same middle name. In a small way, I feel they all felt connected in that tiny way while we were younger. Good luck with whatever you decide!!

grew up in a similar situation; I have a half sister who has a different last name, my mom has a different last name, and I have a whole step-family with a different last name. I feel like it was difficult to explain the relations to people, and a common name would have helped. I remember kids in school telling us we had to be lying about being sisters because we had different names. I would hope that wouldn’t be such a problem today, as kids are much more used to divorce and such than they used to be, but you never know.

I like [name]Chase[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] your last name dad’s last name, putting your last name as both boys 2nd middle.

I think [name]Griffin[/name] is similar to [name]Phoenix[/name], and that links them even more.

Thanks Ladies,

Any other Middle name ideas out there ?? xx

I love [name]Phoenix[/name] too by the way! I think that’s a great option but if you want the same vibe as [name]Phoenix[/name] but a different name, you can try:

[name]Chase[/name] [name]Xavier[/name]
[name]Chase[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]Chase[/name] [name]Paxton[/name]
[name]Chase[/name] [name]Xander[/name]
[name]Chase[/name] [name]Isaac[/name]
[name]Chase[/name] [name]Daxton[/name]
[name]Chase[/name] [name]Hendrix[/name]
