Expecting a baby boy in October but still no names! I
We like Sunny, Paul, Jack and Isador so far but if you have any other suggestions PLEASE! Just don’t come up with HUGE lists, I’ll get bored lol. Keep it simple. Lucien’s middle name is Bailey idk if that helps
I love [name_u]Sonny[/name_u] (prefer this spelling for a boy) with [name_m]Lucien[/name_m]. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is great too but a little common next to the more unusual [name_m]Lucien[/name_m], which I absolutely love. Some other ideas:
Lucien and [name_m]Isador[/name_m] are great together! I agree with others that I slightly prefer the [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] spelling. Also love the previous suggestions of [name_m]Raphael[/name_m], [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u], [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], [name_m]Bastian[/name_m], and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] for you!
[name_m]Lucien[/name_m] & [name_m]Isador[/name_m] go so perfectly together! I prefer the [name_m]Isadore[/name_m] spelling, but thats a personal preference. I also like [name_u]Sunny[/name_u], but prefer it as a nickname. I really like the suggestion of [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] for it!
Was also going to suggest [name_m]Raphael[/name_m]/Rafael so I second that suggestion as well
I think y’all just shortened my list to mainly [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] and [name_m]Isador[/name_m] (I think I’m going to stick to this spelling) but I also like [name_m]Xander[/name_m], [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Bastien[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m]. Not really a [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] fan, it sounds more like a surname. Could you also help me think of a middle name?
Btw ty for answering so quickly I thought it would take months until someone saw this!
I second [name_m]Isador[/name_m] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] and Isafor [name_m]Felix[/name_m], and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] ( , @anon68906791).
I’m sorry I’m just not feeling any of these names. Back to my original list ([name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Paul[/name_m], [name_m]Lucien[/name_m] but without [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]) plus maybe [name_m]Raphael[/name_m], [name_m]Bastien[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m]. I’m stuck… [name_f]My[/name_f] husband likes hard buff names like [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] and [name_m]Truman[/name_m] but I really disagree. We did agree on the names I listed tho. Rn we live in [name_f]France[/name_f] so I want something pronounceable in [name_u]French[/name_u] too… [name_f]My[/name_f] mother’s side of the family is Ukrainian so the cherry on top would be if it had a Russian variation or just something you can pronounce is Russian…? but ik that I’m impossible so I’m not actually expecting that. We really just ignored that last part when we chose [name_m]Lucien[/name_m]. And I’m sorry that I’m just so complicated
I really starting to grow on Bastien tho but it really bothers me that they both end in the same sound ‘ien’. Naming Lucien was so much easier.
Definite vote for [name_m]Isador[/name_m] (or any other spelling)! For some reason the name [name_m]Isador[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] came to mind
It was you saying you’re needing something with both [name_u]French[/name_u] and Eastern European pronunciation/variants that led me to these. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] they help?
IsadorKonstantin is lovely!! Thank you! This morning I was thinking how about [name_m]Isador[/name_m] [name_f]Kosta[/name_f] (the Eastern European diminutive for [name_u]Konstantin[/name_u])? I am really starting to grow on it but I like [name_m]Isador[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m] too!
I think [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] would be great, since both names have to do with light. It’s also the name [name_m]Homer[/name_m] Hickman, the author and protagonist of [name_u]October[/name_u] [name_u]Sky[/name_u], went by as a kid.
