Third trimester with our third little one and keeping the gender a surprise. I have a feeling its another girl (we have two) but we obviously wont know for another couple months!
We have one strong contender for a baby boy name, with a few backups, but looking for inspiration and thoughts on what you imagine or what vibes the names we have in mind give off.
Or new names, that might fit well!
I love earthy, and vintage names, my husband is fine with most of these but doesnt usually have super strong oppinions one way or another, but he leans more traditional, vintagey… he really loves family names though.
The top name we have for a boy is Woodrow, nn Woods, to join sisters Chava (soft “hava”- hebrew for Eve & family name) Mae & Hazel Oak (just liked this one).
Woodrow is a family name, he actually is a great great uncle who just passed away last year, at 107!! Middle names are up in the air but these are some options -
Woodrow Isaac (husbands name)
Woodrow Ives
Woodrow Everett
Woodrow Albert
Woodrow Franklin (strong family name as well)
Woodrow William (family name)
Woodrow Wells
Woodrow Oliver
Woodrow Henry
Last name is a two syllabul H name…
Other boys names we like
Finnegan
Forest
Theodore
Thatcher
Wells
Oliver (unsure because I think its pretty popular right now…)
Boys names are always harder for me, what are your thoughts? Suggestions?
Congratulations! [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Chava[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], and [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] are a great sibset! I love the sweet yet solid nature vibes all these names give off! [name_f][/name_f][name_f]My[/name_f] favorite of the middle names are: [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] (I love the strong family connection!) [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] (I love the flow in this combo and I think [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is so unexpected in the middle name spot!)
I think Woodrow is a gorgeous option it’s lovely to have such a cool family name that I feel you should embrace. Woodrow Isaac, Woodrow Ives & Woodrow Oliver are my favourites with Isaac coming out on top. Such a lovely vintage earthy name that works wonders with big sisters.
[name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] is a cool! It’s a great idea for baby number 3. It’s strong and captivating. It sounds refreshing! [name_f][/name_f][name_f]My[/name_f] favorite combos are [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]. In my opinion, [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] needs a gentle and soft sounding middle name. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] would be my 3rd choice.
[name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] is so fun, and I love the family connection! Since [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] is already such an established family name for you, I would go with a non-family name as a middle name to give him something of his own. From your current list, I quite like [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Ives[/name_m] and [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] (though maybe too much with your last name?). From your long list, I think [name_m]Wells[/name_m] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (though also very popular!) work well with your daughters’ names.
[name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] is an awesome choice! [name_f]My[/name_f] boy shares a name with his great, great uncle. [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] would be my choice. [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] is too close to [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Wilson[/name_m] to me.
[name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] is such a handsome choice, and I love his soft nature feel with [name_f]Chava[/name_f] & [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]! From your list, I’m really liking the combos [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Ives[/name_m], & [name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
[name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Ives[/name_m] is my fave from your list. [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Mae[/name_f], “Eve”, [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], oak. [name_f][/name_f]It all gives earthy woodsy vibes and I love it.
[name_f][/name_f]
Also love [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] after husband [name_f][/name_f]— so sweet
[name_f][/name_f]
Some other ideas along same lines [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Elm[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Alder[/name_m]
[name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] → balanced, strong and solid with gentleness too
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Ives[/name_m] → unexpected and charming
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Woodrow[/name_m] [name_m]Wells[/name_m] → earthy and rugged, but with a cool sound
[name_f][/name_f]
Of your other names, I like [name_m]Forest[/name_m], [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m], [name_m]Wells[/name_m] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]!
