[name]Hi[/name] everyone! I’m not expecting but i already have my name lists full, ha ha. Poor future husband, he will have no chance Anyway i would like to have your opinions on some of my name combinations for boys(i have posted the girl list in the girl names area) Which do you like the most and the least? Also, feel free to come with some suggestions.
[name]Axel[/name] [name]Henry[/name]. Two of the names that means the most to me. They are great names on their own, but they are also the name of my beloved great grandfather ([name]Axel[/name]) and the middle name of my dad ([name]Henry[/name]).
Nikolaj [name]Theodore[/name]. Nikolaj is a bit of a guilty pleasure, but i still love it. And [name]Nicky[/name] makes a cute nickname. [name]Theodore[/name] is a favorite of mine. But maybe it doesn’t sound right when you say it outloud?
[name]Liam[/name] [name]Daniel[/name]. I think [name]Liam[/name] is a refreshing alternative to the very popular [name]William[/name] (who was on the number one spot for boys here in [name]Sweden[/name] 2011). And [name]Daniel[/name] is just a great name.
[name]Viggo[/name] [name]Robert[/name]. I have been a fan of [name]Viggo[/name] for over ten years now (thanks to [name]Viggo[/name] Mortensen) and [name]Robert[/name] is another old family name that i would like to use.
[name]Lucas[/name] [name]Henry[/name]. [name]Lucas[/name] is an old favorite name.
[name]One[/name] bit of advice I have for you on your pairing of names is that you should look at the syllables. It sounds choppy to me if the middle and first name have the same amount of syllables. Try [name]Axel[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] and Nikolaj [name]Henry[/name], that sounds better than [name]Axel[/name] [name]Henry[/name] and Nikolaj [name]Theodore[/name].
The other piece of advice I have is try to keep all of the names around the same style. If you are going to choose a name like [name]Viggo[/name], you don’t want your other son to have the name [name]Lucas[/name] or [name]Liam[/name] which are both in the 50 while [name]Viggo[/name] doesn’t even make the top 100, so I would say either commit to typical names or unusual names, for the sake of your future children.
[name]Viggo[/name] [name]Robert[/name] is my favorite.
[name]Liam[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] is very handsome as well.
I grew up in the 80s and I am in the U.S. so [name]Axel[/name] will forever remind me of [name]Axel[/name] [name]Rose[/name]! Nikolaj is a cool name, but I agree that maybe it needs a 2-syllable middle name.
I really love [name]Viggo[/name] and [name]Nikolai[/name] (I would spell it that way) and like [name]Axel[/name]. [name]Lucas[/name] and [name]Liam[/name] are names I hear so much now that they no longer feel fresh.
I wanted to go for the more uncommon combo’s but I’m very much drawn to [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Henry[/name], which is sweet, simple and just lovely.
[name]Viggo[/name] is very handsome but I’ve never liked [name]Robert[/name]. I’d prefer to see [name]Viggo[/name] [name]Henry[/name]. [name]Axel[/name] is nice enough and considering both names honour family members then I guess it’s a thumbs up for this combo.
I adore [name]Theodore[/name] and I want to love Nikolaj [name]Theodore[/name] but I can’t get past the ‘J’ on the end and so wish it was [name]Nikolai[/name]!
[name]Liam[/name] [name]Daniel[/name] is probably my least favourite becuse of the popularity of both names. I don’t see [name]Liam[/name] as refreshing here in the UK but if it is to you then it is a handsome name.
