You and (THE [name]MAN[/name] YOU SAVED NAME) see a lot of each other over the course of the next year. You are now twenty years old, still living in [name]Miami[/name], working in the thrift store, and hanging out with your friends…who have no idea you’re a mermaid. You want to tell (DH’S NAME) but you have no clue of how to. Plus, you’re scared he might leave you or not believe you. When he finally asks you out on a date, your worries vaporize. You decide you will tell him when you’re ready.

After dating for ([name]ROLL[/name] THE [name]DICE[/name] THEN [name]ADD[/name] 2) months, (BOYFRIEND’S NAME) introduces you to his parents, his brother, and two sisters. They’re a very nice family. You like them and vice versa. A few weeks after that, you notice that you’re boyfriend is acting strange, like he wants to ask you something but is holding back. The suspense is killing you, so you come right out and asks what’s wrong. He says that he wants to know why no one has ever met your family. He asks if it’s him, like you’re embarrassed or something, but you assure him that it’s not. You tell him your mother skipped out when you were a little kid and you had a huge fight with your dad and since then things haven’t been the same in your relationship with him. It’s part of the truth, but not the whole truth.

A week after that awkward conversation with your boyfriend, he comes over to your apartment for a visit and gives you a piece of paper with a woman’s name, a phone number, and an address. Confused, you ask him who it is. It is your mother, he said. And she wants to see you.

What is your mother’s name? (first & middle names from Popular Names in the United States 1980-1989 - Behind the Name)

You start to pace frantically around the apartment. (BOYFRIEND’S NAME) said he went looking for her after you told him you were estranged from her. You’re a little pissed off he went behind your back to do it, but at the same time you’re both excited and frightened. He said your mother wants to see you–but you’re not sure if you want to see her anymore. You still have her necklace. An hour later, once your boyfriend has calmed you down, you decide to call your mother. She answers on the second ring. You introduce yourself and she sounds like she is about to cry on the other end. You spend two hours on the phone with her. ([name]ROLL[/name] THE [name]DICE[/name] THEN [name]ADD[/name] 3) weeks later, you’re flying out to (CITY YOU ROLLED) to visit her.

(YOUR MOTHER’S NAME) is married to a man named (HIS NAME), who has a daughter, (HER NAME), two years older than you, from a previous marriage. You spend an entire day with your mom, shopping in the city. When you arrive back at her house, the two of you sit in the living room, where she finally notices the necklace you’re wearing. She says your father gave her that necklace when they had gotten together. You ask her if she knows–and she understands exactly what you’re asking. Her answer is yes, she did know your father was a merman. They had wanted to marry, but the laws of Atlantica forbid it and your father didn’t have the nerve to go against his people. (YOUR MOM’S NAME) found out she was pregnant and she tried to convince your father to run away with her. Only their plans didn’t work out. Reluctantly, your mother agreed to hand you over to your father and let him raise you as a mermaid in Atlantica, leaving you with her necklace to remember her by.

Once (MOM’S NAME) is done telling her story, you explain yours, starting with how you found out and what brought you to [name]Miami[/name]. Your mother thinks your father acted the way he did out of fear of losing you or of you getting hurt by a human. Hearing her say this, you tell her about your predicament with (BOYFRIEND’S NAME). Your mom urges you to tell him and, if he really loves you, he’ll accept you for all that you are. When you leave a week later, you hug her tight and have resolved to tell (BOYFRIEND’S NAME) your secret.

The day after you arrive home to [name]Miami[/name], your boyfriend is spending the night at your apartment while your roommates are away for the weekend. Impulsively over dinner, you tell him everything–including that you are a mermaid. When your story is over, you wait for his response. [name]Silence[/name] for literally ten minutes before he bursts out laughing at your little “joke.” You’re very, very upset and insist that it’s true. He continues to laugh in your face, which infuriates you and you get into an argument with him. The fight ends with (BOYFRIEND’S NAME) storming out of the apartment and you curled up on the living room sofa, balling your eyes out. Later that same night, you can’t sleep. You leave the apartment, get in your car, and drive down to the beach. You dive into the ocean, the water consuming all of you and you become a mermaid once again.

You’re in the ocean for an hour, swimming aimlessly without any direction. On your hundredth or so time of diving and coming back up, you see a figure standing on the shore, water coming up to his ankles. It’s (BOYFRIEND’S NAME). He calls out to you. You are still angry, so you go back under water and ignore him. You stick your head back up five minutes later. He’s still there, this time up to his knees in water. He says your name again and you go back under. To your surprise, (BOYFRIEND’S NAME) takes off his shirt and shoes and dives into the ocean after you. Thinking it’s pointless to ignore him anymore, you decide to hear what he has to say. He swims over to you. Floating in the water, he stares at you for a minute or so. At last, he says you’re the most beautiful woman in the world and kisses you. You’re shocked and you splash him at water. (BOYFRIEND’S NAME) pleads with you to hear him out. He admits he overreacted tonight and he knew all along there was something special about you, the woman who saved him two years ago. He loves you because you’re (YOUR FULL NAME) and he doesn’t care if your a mermaid or a girl, he loves you anyway. He asks you to marry him–your response is to kiss him so passionately you knock him into the water.

([name]ROLL[/name] THE [name]DICE[/name] THEN [name]ADD[/name] 2) months later, you and (DH’S NAME) have your wedding on a huge yacht that belongs to your husband’s uncle in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by your friends. Your mother, her husband, and your stepsister also attend. In the middle of the ceremony, you see a rise in the ocean and hear the sounds of a show choir playing. Everyone looks into the ocean to see a crowd of merpeople, led by your father, (HIS NAME), singing beautifully for you and your new husband. You blow a kiss to your dad and his smile is as bright as the sunshine.

After your wedding, you and your husband settle down in [name]Orlando[/name], [name]Florida[/name]. You get a job as a (CAREER) and he works as a (CAREER). ([name]ROLL[/name] THE [name]DICE[/name] THEN [name]ADD[/name] 1) years after your wedding, you start having children. You both want a nice, big family and want as many kids as you can have.

THE END

You and ([name]Archer[/name]) see a lot of each other over the course of the next year. You are now twenty years old, still living in [name]Miami[/name], working in the thrift store, and hanging out with your friends…who have no idea you’re a mermaid. You want to tell ([name]Archer[/name]) but you have no clue of how to. Plus, you’re scared he might leave you or not believe you. When he finally asks you out on a date, your worries vaporize. You decide you will tell him when you’re ready.

After dating for (5) months, ([name]Archer[/name]) introduces you to his parents, his brother, and two sisters.

Where does your mother live?
2: [name]Baltimore[/name], Maryland

What is your mother’s name? [name]Crystal[/name] [name]Vanessa[/name] [name]Laurence[/name]

You start to pace frantically around the apartment. ([name]Archer[/name]) said he went looking for her after you told him you were estranged from her. (5) weeks later, you’re flying out to ([name]Baltimore[/name]) to visit her.

([name]Crystal[/name]) is married to a man named ([name]Joel[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] [name]Laurence[/name]), who has a daughter, ([name]Cleo[/name] [name]Daphne[/name] [name]Laurence[/name]), two years older than you, from a previous marriage. ([name]Crystal[/name]) found out she was pregnant and she tried to convince your father to run away with her. Only their plans didn’t work out. Reluctantly, your mother agreed to hand you over to your father and let him raise you as a mermaid in Atlantica, leaving you with her necklace to remember her by.

Once ([name]Crystal[/name]) is done telling her story, you explain yours, starting with how you found out and what brought you to [name]Miami[/name]. Your mother thinks your father acted the way he did out of fear of losing you or of you getting hurt by a human. Hearing her say this, you tell her about your predicament with ([name]Archer[/name]). Your mom urges you to tell him and, if he really loves you, he’ll accept you for all that you are. When you leave a week later, you hug her tight and have resolved to tell ([name]Archer[/name]) your secret.

The fight ends with ([name]Archer[/name]) storming out of the apartment and you curled up on the living room sofa, balling your eyes out.

It’s ([name]Archer[/name]). He calls out to you. You are still angry, so you go back under water and ignore him. You stick your head back up five minutes later. He’s still there, this time up to his knees in water. He says your name again and you go back under. To your surprise, ([name]Archer[/name]) takes off his shirt and shoes and dives into the ocean after you. Thinking it’s pointless to ignore him anymore, you decide to hear what he has to say. He swims over to you. Floating in the water, he stares at you for a minute or so. At last, he says you’re the most beautiful woman in the world and kisses you. You’re shocked and you splash him at water. ([name]Archer[/name]) pleads with you to hear him out. He admits he overreacted tonight and he knew all along there was something special about you, the woman who saved him two years ago. He loves you because you’re ([name]Nixie[/name] [name]Marine[/name]) and he doesn’t care if your a mermaid or a girl, he loves you anyway. He asks you to marry him–your response is to kiss him so passionately you knock him into the water.

(7) months later, you and ([name]Archer[/name]) have your wedding on a huge yacht that belongs to your husband’s uncle in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by your friends. Your mother, her husband, and your stepsister also attend. In the middle of the ceremony, you see a rise in the ocean and hear the sounds of a show choir playing. Everyone looks into the ocean to see a crowd of merpeople, led by your father, ([name]Blue[/name]), singing beautifully for you and your new husband. You blow a kiss to your dad and his smile is as bright as the sunshine.

After your wedding, you and your husband settle down in [name]Orlando[/name], [name]Florida[/name]. You get a job as a (marine biologist) and he works as a (surgeon). (4) years after your wedding, you start having children. You both want a nice, big family and want as many kids as you can have.

At last, he says you’re the most beautiful woman in the world and kisses you. You’re shocked and you splash him at water. [name]Beckett[/name] pleads with you to hear him out. He admits he overreacted tonight and he knew all along there was something special about you, the woman who saved him two years ago. He loves you because you’re [name]Lola[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name] Craft and he doesn’t care if you’re a mermaid or a girl, he loves you anyway. He asks you to marry him–your response is to kiss him so passionately you knock him into the water.

Four months later, you and [name]Beckett[/name] have your wedding on a huge yacht that belongs to your husband’s uncle in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by your friends. THE END

You and [name]Connor[/name] see a lot of each other over the course of the next year. You are now twenty years old, still living in [name]Miami[/name], working in the thrift store, and hanging out with your friends…who have no idea you’re a mermaid. You want to tell [name]Connor[/name] but you have no clue of how to. Plus, you’re scared he might leave you or not believe you. When he finally asks you out on a date, your worries vaporize. You decide you will tell him when you’re ready.

After dating for 3 months, [name]Connor[/name] introduces you to his parents, his brother, and two sisters.

Where does your mother live? [name]Baltimore[/name], Maryland

What is your mother’s name? [name]Melissa[/name] [name]Amber[/name] Kidd

You start to pace frantically around the apartment. [name]Connor[/name] said he went looking for her after you told him you were estranged from her. 9 weeks later, you’re flying out to [name]Baltimore[/name] to visit her.

[name]Melissa[/name] is married to a man named [name]Ryan[/name], who has a daughter, [name]Fiona[/name], two years older than you, from a previous marriage. [name]Melissa[/name] found out she was pregnant and she tried to convince your father to run away with her. Only their plans didn’t work out. Reluctantly, your mother agreed to hand you over to your father and let him raise you as a mermaid in Atlantica, leaving you with her necklace to remember her by.

Once [name]Melissa[/name] is done telling her story, you explain yours, starting with how you found out and what brought you to [name]Miami[/name]. Your mother thinks your father acted the way he did out of fear of losing you or of you getting hurt by a human. Hearing her say this, you tell her about your predicament with [name]Connor[/name]. Your mom urges you to tell him and, if he really loves you, he’ll accept you for all that you are. When you leave a week later, you hug her tight and have resolved to tell [name]Connor[/name] your secret.

The fight ends with [name]Connor[/name] storming out of the apartment and you curled up on the living room sofa, balling your eyes out.

It’s [name]Connor[/name]. He calls out to you. You are still angry, so you go back under water and ignore him. You stick your head back up five minutes later. He’s still there, this time up to his knees in water. He says your name again and you go back under. To your surprise, [name]Connor[/name] takes off his shirt and shoes and dives into the ocean after you. Thinking it’s pointless to ignore him anymore, you decide to hear what he has to say. He swims over to you. Floating in the water, he stares at you for a minute or so. He asks you to marry him–your response is to kiss him so passionately you knock him into the water.

5 months later, you and [name]Connor[/name] have your wedding on a huge yacht that belongs to your husband’s uncle in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by your friends. You and [name]Skye[/name] see a lot of each other over the course of the next year. You are now twenty years old, still living in [name]Miami[/name], working in the thrift store, and hanging out with your friends…who have no idea you’re a mermaid. You want to tell [name]Skye[/name] but you have no clue of how to. Plus, you’re scared he might leave you or not believe you. When he finally asks you out on a date, your worries vaporize. You decide you will tell him when you’re ready.

After dating for four months, [name]Skye[/name] introduces you to his parents, his brother, and two sisters.

Where does your mother live?
6: [name]Long[/name] Island, New [name]York[/name]

What is your mother’s name? Addeline [name]Kiara[/name]

You start to pace frantically around the apartment. [name]Skye[/name] said he went looking for her after you told him you were estranged from her. Six weeks later, you’re flying out to [name]Long[/name] Island to visit her.

Addeline is married to a man named [name]Tate[/name] [name]Rodney[/name], who has a daughter, [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Jewel[/name], two years older than you, from a previous marriage. Addeline found out she was pregnant and she tried to convince your father to run away with her. Only their plans didn’t work out. Reluctantly, your mother agreed to hand you over to your father and let him raise you as a mermaid in Atlantica, leaving you with her necklace to remember her by.

Addeline is done telling her story, you explain yours, starting with how you found out and what brought you to [name]Miami[/name]. Your mother thinks your father acted the way he did out of fear of losing you or of you getting hurt by a human. Hearing her say this, you tell her about your predicament with [name]Skye[/name]. Your mom urges you to tell him and, if he really loves you, he’ll accept you for all that you are. When you leave a week later, you hug her tight and have resolved to tell [name]Skye[/name] your secret.

The fight ends with [name]Skye[/name] storming out of the apartment and you curled up on the living room sofa, balling your eyes out.

It’s [name]Skye[/name]. He calls out to you. You are still angry, so you go back under water and ignore him. You stick your head back up five minutes later. He’s still there, this time up to his knees in water. He says your name again and you go back under. To your surprise, [name]Skye[/name] takes off his shirt and shoes and dives into the ocean after you. THE END

You and [name]Jamie[/name] see a lot of each other over the course of the next year. You are now twenty years old, still living in [name]Miami[/name], working in the thrift store, and hanging out with your friends…who have no idea you’re a mermaid. You want to tell [name]Jamie[/name] but you have no clue of how to. Plus, you’re scared he might leave you or not believe you. When he finally asks you out on a date, your worries vaporize. You decide you will tell him when you’re ready.

After dating for 3 months, [name]Jamie[/name] introduces you to his parents, his brother, and two sisters.

Where does your mother live?
6: [name]Long[/name] Island, New [name]York[/name]

What is your mother’s name? [name]Erin[/name] [name]Nicole[/name] [name]Kennedy[/name]

You start to pace frantically around the apartment. [name]Jamie[/name] said he went looking for her after you told him you were estranged from her. 6 weeks later, you’re flying out to [name]Long[/name] Island to visit her.

[name]Erin[/name] is married to a man named [name]Frank[/name], who has a daughter, [name]Kelly[/name], two years older than you, from a previous marriage. [name]Erin[/name] found out she was pregnant and she tried to convince your father to run away with her. Only their plans didn’t work out. Reluctantly, your mother agreed to hand you over to your father and let him raise you as a mermaid in Atlantica, leaving you with her necklace to remember her by.

Once [name]Erin[/name] is done telling her story, you explain yours, starting with how you found out and what brought you to [name]Miami[/name]. Your mother thinks your father acted the way he did out of fear of losing you or of you getting hurt by a human. Hearing her say this, you tell her about your predicament with [name]Jamie[/name]. Your mom urges you to tell him and, if he really loves you, he’ll accept you for all that you are. When you leave a week later, you hug her tight and have resolved to tell [name]Jamie[/name] your secret.

The fight ends with [name]Jamie[/name] storming out of the apartment and you curled up on the living room sofa, balling your eyes out.

It’s [name]Jamie[/name]. He calls out to you. You are still angry, so you go back under water and ignore him. You stick your head back up five minutes later. He’s still there, this time up to his knees in water. He says your name again and you go back under. To your surprise, [name]Jamie[/name] takes off his shirt and shoes and dives into the ocean after you. Thinking it’s pointless to ignore him anymore, you decide to hear what he has to say. He swims over to you. Floating in the water, he stares at you for a minute or so. At last, he says you’re the most beautiful woman in the world and kisses you. You’re shocked and you splash him with water. [name]Jamie[/name] pleads with you to hear him out. He admits he overreacted tonight and he knew all along there was something special about you, the woman who saved him two years ago. He loves you because you’re [name]Alana[/name] [name]Nerissa[/name] DeLorean and he doesn’t care if you’re a mermaid or a girl, he loves you anyway. He asks you to marry him–your response is to kiss him so passionately you knock him into the water.
