I just love [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. My second favorite from your list is [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]. I think both are perfect with [name_m]Preston[/name_m].
Taking a cue from [name_f]Selene[/name_f]…what about [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]? It has a beautiful meaning (heavenly). Or, since she’ll be born late [name_f]September[/name_f], [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]? Both are easily spelled and pronounced without being super common. I like the person above’s suggestion of [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]. I know a [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and always thought that sounded so nice.
What would I take off the list…I think [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] and [name_f]Tiffany[/name_f] sound a little…80s? Whereas [name_m]Preston[/name_m] is a little classic, a little fresh and modern and could really be from any time period.
My favorites are [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Samantha[/name_f], and [name_u]Riley[/name_u]. I think [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] is classic so still usable. I’d ditch [name_f]Tiffany[/name_f] and [name_u]Madison[/name_u]. Second the suggestions of [name_u]Blair[/name_u], [name_u]Reese[/name_u], [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] and [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]. I’ll also suggest [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and [name_f]Laurel[/name_f]. A lot of the -n ending names match stylistically but I don’t love the repeat endings.
We have a 10 year old [name_m]Preston[/name_m] and a 2 year old [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]. We are likely going with [name_f]Colette[/name_f] or [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] as his next sister’s name. From your list, I prefer the following:
Perhaps you may also consider [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]. If you are looking for another “P” name, either [name_f]Paige[/name_f] or [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] could be considered. Congrats!
I really love [name_f]Selene[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] from your list. I think they pair well with [name_m]Preston[/name_m].
Names I don’t think go well with older beother:
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f]
[name_f]Tiffany[/name_f]
For the most part I feel these are too frilly for [name_m]Preston[/name_m]'s sister. I think any of your other names would work well.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is definitely my favorite of your list with [name_m]Preston[/name_m], none of the others go well to me, they are either too stylistically mismatched or sound too close (like [name_u]Leighton[/name_u], I dont care for the rhyming ending) to brother’s name. I like pp suggestions of [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and [name_u]Reese[/name_u]. And I would add [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and [name_u]Harper[/name_u].
For me [name_m]Preston[/name_m] has elements of a number of different styles: classic, preppy, surname, [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_f]England[/name_f]-y family w/roots going back to the 1600s. Names that to me fall into one or more of these styles (apologies for repeats):
My top picks from your list would be Cassidy and Summer. I would stay away from another N ending to avoid feeling too matchy or create a pattern. I don’t think popular traditional names like Charlotte and Lily go well with Preston at all.
