Ok. Here comes baby #3! As usual, I feel DH & I are terrible on agreeing with a name. That being said, I think we have actually picked a first name & there are still 4 months to go!!! This is incredible for us seeing that the first one didn’t have a middle name until she was 3 days old (& if she would have turned out to be a boy we would have been up a creek because we had no boy names picked), and the second one didn’t have any name until an hour before I went in to be induced. That all being said, we still need help with a middle name. We are completely lost! We know we want to stick with the same pattern the rest of our names have. 2 syllable first name, 1 syllable middle name. So we have [name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] & [name_u]Braeden[/name_u] [name_m]Sean[/name_m]. The first name we’ve kind of settled on is [name_u]Marley[/name_u], but we NEED a middle name! One syllable girl middle name to go with [name_u]Marley[/name_u]. ok peeps…GO!
#1 [name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
#2 [name_u]Braeden[/name_u] [name_m]Sean[/name_m]
#3 [name_u]Marley[/name_u] ?_
I love [name_u]Marley[/name_u]. To fit with your other kids’ more traditional mns:

[name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]Sue[/name_f]
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_u]Braeden[/name_u] [name_m]Sean[/name_m] are Great combos! You guys did great, even if it was last minute! I love seeing [name_m]Sean[/name_m] used. It is my husbands name.

Before I knew you were only looking for middles, I thought that Teagan would be an excellent fit on your sibset…Riley, Braeden, and Teagan!
Your pattern is nice, but both [name_u]Riley[/name_u] and [name_u]Marley[/name_u] end in ley. They are quite similar. Sorry.
I think most of the good one syllable names have been suggested.
I like [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f].
[name_m]Just[/name_m] an fyi that [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is the name of a character on Glee.
Ok…so we’re almost back to square one on this one…We started talking about names again the other night & he starts mentioning other first names. So I guess we’re not settled on [name_u]Marley[/name_u]. I mentioned [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] & [name_u]Henley[/name_u], he mentioned [name_f]Hailey[/name_f]. I said no to [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] because it is just too common for me. I’m also a little scared about both [name_u]Riley[/name_u] & the new baby having rhyming first names. He likes it. Is it too weird? Not unique enough? [name_m]Will[/name_m] the older feel like her name (as well as everything else in her life) is being imposed on? I NEED some guidence. I’m 32 weeks today and stressed out of my mind. I feel like “someone” wants me to have another [name_f]October[/name_f] baby, but I will not let it happen. But this pregnancy brain is REALLY setting in this time. So ALL help is MORE than welcome! Please give me your opinions.
Awww, don’t stress! It’s not good for you or bubs. It will all work out.
I think [name_u]Marley[/name_u] is really cute. [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u] are a little close together with the rhyming at the end (as are [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] & [name_u]Henley[/name_u]–both great names too, and I agree with you re: [name_f]Hailey[/name_f]–not a fan) but they still work together. I don’t think it’s going to be an issue of not being unique enough, it’s just up to you guys whether you want to do semi-rhyming names. Try saying it out loud and see how it sounds. If “[name_u]Riley[/name_u] and [name_u]Marley[/name_u], it’s time to go!” feels right, then go for it! If you aren’t feeling it, then try out something else.
Some other suggestions:
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] & [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] & [name_f]Margot[/name_f]
It sounds like you’re a fan of unisex names for girls ([name_u]Riley[/name_u], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], [name_u]Henley[/name_u]). Ok so this one doesn’t fit the 2 syllable rule, but I think [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] would be a gorgeous choice with your sibset. [name_u]Riley[/name_u], [name_u]Braeden[/name_u] & [name_u]Sloane[/name_u]. (!)
one syllable middle name ideas:
[name_u]Bryn[/name_u]
[name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Liv[/name_f]
[name_f]Bess[/name_f]
[name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_u]Lane[/name_u]
Side note–I had an [name_f]October[/name_f] baby (he was supposed to be a [name_u]December[/name_u] baby…) at 32 weeks this time last year. I think it was because I was super stressed. No one knows why really, and maybe it wasn’t because of the stress, but, in any case- don’t stress. Breathe. Be zen. It will work out. ([name_u]Baby[/name_u] is a healthy 1 year old now)
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] and [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] suggestion! [name_u]Marley[/name_u] is cute - what about [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u]?

[name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]
[name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u]
I was going to suggest [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] works, too.
