I’m really leaning towards [name_f]Liv[/name_f] right now for our baby girl but still considering other options. I think [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is beautiful, fresh, sweet and sophisticated. I think [name_f]Isla[/name_f] is beautiful also. Which name do you berries prefer?
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is a bit nickname-y sounding and a bit incomplete as it ends with -v. [name_f]Isla[/name_f] sounds very clean cut and refreshing to me, and always has.
[name_f]Liv[/name_f], though [name_f]Isla[/name_f] is a nice choice too. [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is more unexpected while [name_f]Isla[/name_f] is quite common among the under-5s in my area, which kind of diminishes how special it could be.

Ooh tough choice! They are both beautiful in different ways. [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is definitely less common than [name_f]Isla[/name_f] at the moment but [name_f]Isla[/name_f] is certainly not a name you here on every second child you meet. I think I’ll go with [name_f]Isla[/name_f] even though I love [name_f]Liv[/name_f] because I like [name_f]Livia[/name_f] or [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] a lot better. However depending on the middle name I could swing the other way 
I prefer [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. I never liked [name_f]Liv[/name_f], though i might warmed up to it, as a nn for [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. [name_f]Isla[/name_f] for me is such a spunky and sweet name, not unheard but neither overused. [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is unusual as a standalone but i think its quite common as a nickname.
I prefer [name_f]Liv[/name_f] as it is cute with a dash of spunk.

I would personally go with [name_f]Isla[/name_f], unless you were going to use [name_f]Liv[/name_f] as a nickname for something longer like [name_f]Olive[/name_f] or [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]. [name_f]Liv[/name_f] just feels too insubstantial and incomplete to me for a full name, though I don’t mind it as a nickname. besides that though, [name_f]Isla[/name_f] is also a very beautiful name!

I love [name_f]Isla[/name_f], but nothing compares to [name_f]Liv[/name_f]. It is so underused and beautiful - we are using it if we have a girl!
[name_f]Liv[/name_f] may sound like a name to you but I bet every other person will ask her…what’s your full name? It would be like naming someone [name_f]Sue[/name_f] or [name_u]Izzy[/name_u]. If you don’t like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] just use [name_f]Livia[/name_f] and call her [name_f]Liv[/name_f].
[name_m]Tane[/name_m] is unusual. I only know 2 and neither is under 10 years. It’s just [name_f]Jane[/name_f] but with a ‘T’.
I love both, but [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is more powerful and exciting to me. [name_f]Isla[/name_f] feels more fragile.
I really like both. I’d say let the rest of your style be the tiebreaker—if most of the other names you like are frilly and upbeat, go with [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. If your taste runs more toward strong, sleek names, choose [name_f]Liv[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Liv[/name_f] because I like the meaning better (life) versus the meaning of [name_f]Isla[/name_f] (island), but both are beautiful, so you can’t go wrong.
