I like the short, sharp Liv!!
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] for me!
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] is a longtime name crush of mine and has been very high on my own list since I first heard it in an art history class in college, so I’m going to have to ultimately go with [name_f]Livia[/name_f] (perhaps nicknamed [name_f]Liv[/name_f] or Livy). It also has the appeal to me of being an ancient name, which is very much my style/vibe.
The one big drawback to me is I’d worry about it getting confused for [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] (which I’m not a fan of personally) or [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] (nice, but not the same).
That said, I do actually love both options, and [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is growing on me as a stand-alone name lately too.

I love [name_f]Livia[/name_f] too, and for the same reasons! It’s such a gorgeous name and the ancient history appeal is great! I also think about the [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] confusion, but in a world of [name_u]Addison[/name_u] & [name_u]Madison[/name_u] and [name_u]Abby[/name_u] & [name_u]Gabby[/name_u] and tons of other sound alike, why not [name_f]Livia[/name_f]!
