Thoughts on the name [name]Lizanne[/name]? Usability? Would you assume it was short for something? I love [name]Lizbeth[/name], too, but is it too weird or “Dragon Tattoo”? [name]Do[/name] any other awesome smoosh names come to mind? Thanks berries!

I haven’t seen the movies, but I think that [name]Lizbeth[/name] is nice and classic and I don’t think the American remake is doing that great so maybe the association won’t be that strong. What do you think of [name]Lisette[/name]?
I’d never heard of [name]Lizanne[/name] until now, but I think I’m actually in love with it. Like, IN [name]LOVE[/name]. It’s just…perfect. I might just have to steal it for my list, haha!
I don’t really like [name]Lizanne[/name]. What about Annabeth? A weird one I like is Annabette. I personally couldn’t use [name]Lizbeth[/name] after having read Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but I think I was traumatized by the horrors (def cannot handle the movie). I knew a girl named [name]Lizette[/name] is HS who was really beautiful, kind and brilliant, so I also have good associations with that.
I don’t like [name]Lizanne[/name] at all. It sounds harsh and made up to me.
I do like the suggestion of Annabeth though.
Thanks for the feedback on [name]Lizanne[/name]. I really like Annabette, [name]Lisette[/name], and [name]Lizette[/name]! I haven’t heard these before and I love them. Annabeth is beautiful; I also have a soft spot for [name]Marianne[/name], [name]Rosemary[/name], & [name]Maribeth[/name]. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite because I feel like choosing one excludes others for future use, you know? One last question: is something like Ninalynn or Maiabeth going too far, or are these previously unconsidered two-for-one gold?
I love [name]Rosemary[/name] and Annabette too! I also like [name]Marietta[/name]. Visually I don’t like Ninalynn or Maiabeth, but I like the sound of both. I love [name]Nina[/name] so much!
I don’t like [name]Lizanne[/name] but I’m prejudiced against the name because the only one I ever met was the most odious little prima donna imaginable. [name]Lizbeth[/name] just sounds mashed together, I like [name]Lizabeth[/name] better a much smoother sound.
I love [name]Rosemary[/name]! It’s my fav aunt’s name. I totally think you could use something like Annabette (so glad you like it!) and [name]Rosemary[/name] together as sibs. As long as you weren’t using two [name]Elizabeth[/name] smooshies or two [name]Mary[/name] smooshies together, I think it works fine. Agree with taz that visually those other two don’t look good ([name]Nina[/name] and [name]Maia[/name] smooshies) but they sound good. I think it looks slightly better if you do NinaLynn or MaiaBeth, but you’d prob be hard pressed to get other ppl to do it this way. I don’t know; not much experience here.
I like [name]Lizanne[/name]. Not something I would use, but it certainly has potential. It feels like a full name in its own right.
I know a girl named [name]Lisann[/name] and love her name. I think [name]Lisann[/name] or [name]Lisanne[/name] sounds a little less harsh than [name]Lizanne[/name].
I like [name]Lisbeth[/name] or [name]Lisette[/name] better than [name]Lizanne[/name]. I have never liked the “z” in [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Liz[/name]. don’t really know why,. I just prefer the “s”,seems softer and more feminine to me…
[name]Elisabeth[/name]
[name]Lisette[/name]
[name]Lisbeth[/name]
[name]Lisanne[/name]
My sister is [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Ann[/name]. We called her [name]Lizann[/name] for a bit, but after awhile it started sounding like “Wizam”.
