love the name [name]Eloise[/name] for this little girl. A little bit put off by it’s rising popularity so I would like to use an off beat/quirky nickname that is under the radar.
I’m thinking about going with Lo and [name]Lola[/name]! But of course, will use the full name a lot too as I think it’s so beautiful.
[name]Lola[/name] was on my short list but I definitely like it best as a nn. I actually quite love it as a nn!
[name]Elle[/name] and [name]LuLu[/name] are two other options. But leaning more towards Lo and [name]Lola[/name] at the moment. If it sticks that’s cool, and if not, that’s fine too. I like all of eloise’s potential nn’s. Sure, some are popular, but they’re just nn’s so it doesn’t bother me so much.
I love Lo and [name]Lola[/name]'s adorable too! I think [name]Elle[/name] would be the more obvious nickname, but for whatever reason, maybe it’s [name]Elle[/name]/[name]Ella[/name]'s popularity right now, I don’t like it as much. I think [name]Lulu[/name] is cute but, to me, it’s a nickname she would likely grow out of while I think the other nicknames could last her a lifetime. I think [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] goes great with your other kids too.
Oh, I love the idea of [name]Lola[/name] for [name]Eloise[/name]. They are both such different names, it would be fun to have both options and be called both. [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] is lovely!
Sometimes, the kid ends up with completely random nicknames. I find that unless I’m exclusively going by a nickname form (like [name]Cindy[/name] for [name]Cynthia[/name] or J.C. for [name]John[/name] [name]Charles[/name]) that it’s rather pointless to try and plan for cute little pet names. It’s sometimes quite surprising what actually “sticks” when the baby gets here. Sometimes, she’s a Rooster and not a [name]Lula[/name] (another nickname for [name]Eloise[/name], if you need one). Personally, I think [name]Eloise[/name] is quite lovely all on its own.

[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] is just gorgeous! Elose [name]Amelia[/name] is one combo I considered a few weeks back and I still think it’s really pretty. Like yourself I just love the nicknames Lo and [name]Lola[/name] but I cannot stand the idea of an [name]Eloise[/name] being called [name]Ellie[/name] and that’s what is putting me off using the name. I really, really, really don’t want any future daughter of mine to be nicknamed [name]Elle[/name]/[name]Ellie[/name] and even if I don’t call it her, she might opt to be known as [name]Ellie[/name] or her friends might call her that.
Very true, The nn [name]Ellie[/name] might happen but I’m not bothered too much by it. I mean it is really cute just popular. Since it’s a nn I really don’t mind though ;). I think if I establish [name]Elle[/name] not [name]Ellie[/name], things “should” go my way. Haha. I still really love the nn [name]Elle[/name] so I’ll probably use that.
