Local births (there are som strange ones)

There are definitely some “interesting” ones here!

Boy:

[name]William[/name]
[name]Jackson[/name]
[name]Kylar[/name]
[name]Michael[/name]
[name]Braylan[/name]
[name]Keshaun[/name] (2 of them)
A’Dyn (yes, said like [name]Aiden[/name] >.<)
General
Grady
Jaxson

Girl:

Quetzalli
Aliyah
Ky’Ayla
Emay
Brianna
Libby
Brooklynn
Avery

Ay-dun? I thought they were just a’dding extra apostrophes. He’ll spend a lot of his life A’Dyn people on the pronunciation. Seriously - what’s wrong with Aidan or Aiden? And General is anything but!

Still, though, some interesting ones. I like Libby. Is “Quetzalli” a name I should have heard of?

Oh my… those are some interesting names. [name]General[/name]? Random apostrophes? Blech.

I’ve seen Quetzalli before on Mexicans.

Nahuatl quetzalli, “large brilliant tail feather”

Um… well, [name]William[/name] and [name]Michael[/name] are great. And at least one [name]Jackson[/name] is spelled properly. And, I never thought I’d say it, but [name]Brianna[/name] looks pretty damn good next to the other girls.

[name]Keshaun[/name]? I’ve never heard of this one (or some of the others). I guess they were thinking of a military general, rather than a synonym for generic, ordinary, customary…

Brianna looks pretty damn good next to the other girls.

This is exactly my thoughts! This made me cringe when I looked at this list! I can’t believe these are the babies born at my hospital recently >.< Love William though.
I’m going to go back and add last year too. It’s almost as bad.

Quetzalli is cute! I’ve never seen it used in real life!
