I’m looking at the birth announcements for the area I’m in, let’s see.
[name]Brogan[/name]
Theiron
[name]Zenaida[/name]
Mostly I see uber trendy and creatively spelled names, but on occasion I see names like [name]Lucille[/name], [name]Maxwell[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Charles[/name], [name]Thomas[/name], [name]Russell[/name], [name]Vincent[/name], etc
[name]Isabella[/name] [name]Darlene[/name] and [name]Addilyn[/name] [name]Sheila[/name] (twins)- I’ve never heard [name]Addilyn[/name] before, and their middle names must be family names because they don’t seem to go with the style of their first names at all.
[name]Addie[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Griffin[/name] (brother of [name]Graham[/name])
[name]Ashlynn[/name] (sister of [name]Brayden[/name], [name]Cassidi[/name], and [name]Riley[/name])
Funny, we just met and [name]Addilyn[/name] (not sure on spelling) at the playground a few days ago. First time I’d heard it, and she was maybe 2 years old.
My local announcements are always… well… here they are. (I did not include a lot of names like [name]Rebecca[/name], [name]Lucas[/name], [name]Annie[/name], etc. This is what’s left)
The not so good…
[name]Ariella[/name] and [name]Briella[/name] (twins)
[name]Jaxen[/name]
Jrayden
Iizabelluh
Lots of Olivias, Chloes, -aydens, Isabellas
The interesting…
[name]Cypress[/name]
[name]Salinger[/name]
The good (to me)
[name]Savannah[/name]
[name]Celia[/name]
[name]Selah[/name]
[name]Lola[/name]
[name]Adrianna[/name]
[name]Harrison[/name]
[name]Quinton[/name]
I am in the U.S. in the Midwest, but I found these in my home state of Michigan (still “local” to me I guess even though I moved!) It’s really bad for a name nerd.
Before I started looking at the birth announcements, I would always think posts like this on nameberry were made up. No [name]WAY[/name] are parents naming their kids these names! Oh, I was wrong, wrong, wrong.
I am hoping Jrayden is a typo since there were so many Jaydens and Braydens?
