Logan for a girl?

I’m wondering what people’s thoughts are on [name_u]Logan[/name_u] for a girl? I personally love it. We are having a girl in [name_u]December[/name_u]. We already know her middle name will be [name_u]Louise[/name_u] and her big brother is [name_u]Tristan[/name_u]. So what do you all think about [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] for a little girl? Thank you!!

I love it! It makes me think of [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] and I’ve met plenty of girls with that name.

Logan [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is sweet. I think it could work

I can’t see it on a girl, sorry. But if you love it, and not bothered by its popularity for boys, it’s usable.

Logan is cute on a girl! [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is quite a nice combo.

One of my roommates in college was a female names [name_u]Logan[/name_u].

For the most part, she hated it. On anything unofficial she spelled it Loganne, just to make it look more feminine.

However, I am personally supportive of masculine names on girls.

But I don’t care for the combo [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]. I’m just not a fan of firsts and middles starting with the same letter.

I prefer [name_u]Logan[/name_u] on a boy, but I think it could work. [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is pretty cute with the alliteration

I actually know far more girls named [name_u]Logan[/name_u] than boys so it definitely works imo!

Logan [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is darling! I too know more girls named [name_u]Logan[/name_u] than boys!

Logan is unisex and cute on a girl. It will be harder for other people to know that she’s a girl, that’s the only downside. Would you be bothered if people mistook you for the opposite gender before they met you? [name_m]Will[/name_m] you feel the need to compensate for the unisex name with extra girly clothing, etc?

I know that this is nothing like a human child, but my cat is named [name_u]Banjo[/name_u] and she’s female. It’s not like the sex of a cat even matters but I always feel silly for contradicting people when they call her a him. I never thought of a banjo as being male but most people do.

Logan is one of the boy names that I just can’t picture on a girl. It just seems so burly and boyish that I can’t picture it on a girl.

I know a few female [name_u]Logan[/name_u]’s and I have never thought it was weird. It’s always been unisex for me. [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is really cute and I like [name_u]Logan[/name_u] as a sibling to [name_u]Tristan[/name_u]. I know several female [name_u]Tristan[/name_u]’s as well

Hi there.

Logan is totally masculine to me. It’s very popular for boys, which makes it even more unappealing for a girl. And I would definitely think that [name_u]Logan[/name_u] & [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] were brothers (love [name_u]Tristan[/name_u], btw!). That being said, if you love it, go for it. It’s not that awful…just not my cup of tea.

Hope this helps.

I’ve taught both male and female Logans, so the gender thing seems fine to me.

Tristan and [name_u]Logan[/name_u] work well together.

Logan [name_u]Louise[/name_u] isn’t as pleasing to me, but the main thing is if it pleases you.

I don’t prefer [name_u]Logan[/name_u] for a girl; it’s not for me.

I like [name_u]Logan[/name_u] for a girl, although I personally prefer it on a boy. It’s been fairly popular for girls the past 20 years or so (though nowhere near the popularity for boys), so I think most people are used to seeing it on boys and girls. [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] & [name_u]Logan[/name_u] make me think of [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] Girls  (not a bad thing & I wouldn’t assume they were named after the characters - just something I noticed).

Even though [name_u]Logan[/name_u] is really popular for boys, I feel it’s really unisex. I’ve known both boy and girl Logans and at one point or another had it on my list for both genders. Straightforward, easy to spell and pronounce - I think it’s a solid choice! Because [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] is also unisex, I wouldn’t necessarily assume they were both boys or both girls or one of each.

Logan [name_u]Louise[/name_u] flows nicely and you could even do a cute family nickname of [name_f]Lo[/name_f]-[name_f]Lo[/name_f]. If you love, I say go for it!
