Lola Juliet or Delilah Pearl???

[name]Delilah[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]. [name]Lola[/name] is just so insubstantial and has an extremely trashy feel to me. [name]Even[/name] just changing out the o for an i (e.g. [name]Lola[/name] to [name]Lila[/name]) changes the feel of it entirely.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Lila[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]?

I vote for [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]! So pretty.

[name]Violet[/name] [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Lola[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]

I really think that [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] goes better with [name]Violet[/name] [name]Eve[/name], ya know?

I like [name]Delilah[/name] much more than [name]Lola[/name], so that gets my vote,

[name]Delilah[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is beautiful and flows very naturally. Has a kind of Southern ring to it.

And yeah, I put [name]Lola[/name] in the same style category as [name]Layla[/name] and, personally, those names just don’t do it for me. But to each her own.

[name]Delilah[/name] [name]Pearl[/name], definitely.

My husband’s absolute favourite is [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]! I think its very beautiful but the potential (and likely) nicknames of [name]Julie[/name] or [name]Jules[/name] really puts me off. I’m also not so keen on [name]Violet[/name] & [name]Juliet[/name] having the same ending- some people might find that endearing but to me is seems like we’ve intentionally tried to make them match?! Or maybe I just over analyse things way too much!

I think if you’re a “name lover” sometimes you can put a lot of conditions and restrictions on a name choice unnecessarily. I personally tend to do that and put a lot of pressure on myself to come up with this “perfect name”. To be honest, there is no such thing. Names are so subjective and what appeals to one person may be detested by another.

I guess ultimately, the most important thing is to choose a name that make your heart sing! When you say it, write it or hear it… now if only I could take on board my own advice! ha ha

I’ve got an [name]Iris[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and 3 weeks (ish) off birth of my new daughter. We angsted a lot about names - including [name]Pearl[/name] as a first - and have settled finally on [name]Delilah[/name]. I’d definitely go for [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Pearl[/name], and actually would do this myself except [name]Pearl[/name] rhymes annoyingly with our surname. So we might end up with [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Lark[/name] (too many Ls?)

Anyway, [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] gets my vote a million times over!

I prefer [name]Delilah[/name] to [name]Lola[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] to [name]Pearl[/name]. [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] for the win!

I like both but [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] wins over for me.

I love [name]Iris[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]! I have also considered [name]Pearl[/name] for the first name but my husband isn’t so keen…I think [name]Iris[/name] & [name]Pearl[/name] sounds so cute, its a shame it doesn’t work well with your surname.

I love that you’ve decided to go with [name]Delilah[/name] though…[name]Delilah[/name] [name]Lark[/name] is very cute. Perhaps a bit L heavy but I wouldn’t let that deter you.

Some other ideas:

[name]Delilah[/name] [name]Wren[/name]
[name]Delilah[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
[name]Delilah[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
[name]Delilah[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
[name]Delilah[/name] [name]Eve[/name]

Good-luck with your new baby girl and i’m sure whatever you choose will be divine!
